Can anyone help. I have two small Hermes scarve. Both black background one has various polo events on them the other again is black with what looks like greek chariots and says Hermes Paris Ledoux. have had them for over 15/19 years and they were bought by my late husband and now just sit in a cupboard. Know they are athentic but was going to sell on ebay, but dont know enoguh about them or indeed what they are worth, if anything. Your help would be appreciated.

Many thanks
jintys1, welcome to TPF. We don't offer pricing information. If you'd like to know the names of your scarves, year of issue and designer, we can help you. If you weren't sure if they're real, you could post at the authentication site. Your best bet for pricing is to search eBay and google. Good luck!

Hi brage9! Missed you!

Well, this wasn't done by anyone with a sense of humor: the flags (maybe you know this) read left to right, top to bottom: ABCDEFGHIJKLM NOPQRSTUVWXYZ

At least I would have SAID something. Nice porthole, and it looks like an anchor in one corner, a sextant in another (can't make out the other pics or the lettering-do you have a higher res photo?) Couple of Neptunes....

Africa was beyond belief. Here is one pic (I'm the short one)

Jahna, the phot doesn't show. Could you repost thanks.

Dear Ladies,
Have anyone of you seen this scarf before?

This has got to be an old one brave, with all the un-registered color and the color themselves speak of ... 40s?? I will be curious to see if you find the answer.

Where do you get this fab stuff??? I think you are spending too much time in your Grandmere's scarf collection LOL!!!

Dear Ladies, I am now going to answer my own question re. The fish scarf. I posted an inquiry to Hermes at the same time I posted it here and belive it or not, they answered almost immediately (usually it takes at least a month). they told me the scarf is called "Le fruites de mer" and is made by Charles Pittner. They didn't know the issue date. Amazing to have the answer so rapidly! Any thoughts of issue year?

It has got to be really old because look at these dates for other Pittner scarves:

You should send a picture off to Peter at: [email protected] They seem tres gentile, and are quite happy to update their database.
