Hi Hello!
How cool that you have an H scarf group!
BIG FAVOR.
I am communicating with a person by email (long story) who has this scarf that she will sell me. I feel like I've seen the design, but can't place it. They are practically *giving* it away, and I can't figure out why... (They don't deal in H scarves and don't want to be bothered to do the research). Does anyone recognize this?

I'm afraid if I keep asking them questions, they're going to get the idea that it may be "precious!" Believe me-- this is the sort of person that if I demanded authenticity... they wouldn't know if it was authentic or not.
You all may hate the colors, but it would go perfectly with something I own.
Thanks to anyone who can help.
Lori
Hey, Cal, I was referring to your post. I now see the pics are up. That's an old care tag, all right! Thanks Hello. There's a pic of the tag, it's on there but it's a bit (ok, very) fuzzy. Also, because the C (copyright) is directly after HERMES PARIS, does this mean it's the original and not a reprint. The seller said it was vintage (original print) - is this how I can tell?
Well, I'm only 5 feet tall, but I like the regular carre, which is 90cm x 90cm. I find it the most versatile size. It can be worn around the neck, the waist, draped across the shoulder, or even worn as a halter. Another think that may work is the pochette, or pocket square. Some people love them because they find the carre just too much fabric to manage. If she is petite, the cashmere shawls may just be too big.Hi! l'm new to tPF and Hermes. The scarves are beautiful, but l'm totally at a loss about designs etc. l want to buy one for my mum's xmas - she's not tall so what would be the best and most versatile size to buy? You guys all seem to know so much so l'm sure you'll be able to help!

Thanks, hermesgroupie and hello2703. My mum is petite, so l wouldn't go for the cashmere. Had a look at the current designs and it'll be a nightmare to choose - all so lovely! What about designs from past collections - do Hermes still stock them or would l have to look on ebay etc? l've seen a gorgeous Christmas design - Noel au 24 Faubourg - but would prefer to go to H store as l want the gift to be a bit more special than ebay.
