The black Tourbillon is authentic and from the recent ca. 2003 reissue since it has the tiny copyright on the cotonwood tree leaf (see big brown leaf picture, near top left corner) and the Hermes Paris is inked in blanc mat

thanks to everyone for all the information on this thread. i'm very much a novice when it comes to hermes scarves and could use some help on this one. when the scarf is a re-issue, do the old copyright symbols (or lack thereof) continue to be utilized on the re-issue, or are they updated? or is the only update the addition of a care label?

i love the Tourbillons that is on auction below, but there have been a few too many of them lurking around ebay lately and i question its authenticity. if anyone can offer an opinion, i'd appreciate it.

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could research the Hermes scarves that I have. I know that they are all vintage, orignal issues, but I don't know the names or the years they were issued. I am thinking about selling them and I feel that if I had more information about them that it would really help my auctions. Can anyone help?

Jessica, the names should be printed on the scarves. Also, can you post pics? It would be helpful as many members here are very helpful in IDing scarves in regards to name, artist, and year of issue.

As I posted yesterday, I have a few scarves but I don't knwo the names, or dates or anything for them. Here are some pictures of them, if anyone could help me in identifying them I would be most appreciative!

1. Aux Champs
Design Name:AUX CHAMPSArtist:CATY LATHAMYear Issued:1970

2. Somehow doesn't look like an Hermes scarf to me, but I may be wrong.

3. Napoleon. Designer Ledoux. 1963, reissued 1995

4. Looks familiar, the name is printed at the bottom of the design (as with most Hermes scarves btw) but I cannot read it.

Hi all. I saw pics of a member demonstrating the different ways of wearing a scarf the other day..I can't find it now!:shrugs: Can someone kindly show me the link again? Also is a 90cm big enough to wear or 140cm will be better?

Thanks!:smile1:

Hey Where&Howmuch! I can see you have definitely got the bug. 90cm is big enough for anything, I reckon. To my mind the pochettes (tiny little things!) are too small to be of practical use, except for stuffing in a pocket or tying up hair, compared with the 35 inch/90cm which I think is the most versatile size. I can't remember the link but I know the pic you mean, I'll PM you if I come across it. The Hermes PDF files cover most possible permutations, I think, if you're looking on how to wear. Off to look...

Hi,
Is anyone familiar with the Hermes scarf of Anne de Bretaigne 2th Femme de Louis 12 or St. Malo 15 86? Any information about this scarf would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
