Noel 24 is a design that I would only buy at the store or from a really, really, really trusted seller as there are so many fakes flying around of this particular design.

Older designs are usually available at H boutiques but there is no guarantee what they do/don't have.

For older designs, these two (for instance) are a great source: LUXURY-ALLIANCE.CH and www.designersilksarf.com

I have bought from both and they are both great.

I had a really great experience buying a scarf for my on ebay mom from another reseller, she had it the next day, complete with orange box, bolduc and all.

Just bought this "Splendeur des Maharajas II" scarf on eBay - I just  the design as I  all things Indian. It has a small "P" on the inside of the tag. I had heard this was the mark of the person who rolls the edge. Is this true and what does the "P" stand for ? Sorry I'm not an expert so don't really know many things.

Has anyone heard of a scarf called "En Piste" R. Datner or R. Datter. It is a 35" x 35" scarf that has a bunch of wimsical horses being trained like in a circus? How old is it and does it even exist? Thanks

^^^^^NHL, it is by Robert Dallet, the same artist who did "Jungle Love" and recently passed away. I believe he was a French artist and naturalist. It was made in 1998. The weave of the scarf should have a jacquard of stars.

^^^Thanks HG!! :smile1: I'm waiting for it to come and look at it....Not here yet. Bought for my Evelyne, b/c it has an "orange" background. It looks beautiful in the pictures. I will post pics of everything after they come! I couldn't find it anywhere?

En Piste does indeed have circus horses on it. It was desgined by Robert Dallet and issued several timnes, most recently about 5 years ago. The different issues vary - the older ones have a star jacquard and the 5 year old (or there abouts) ones lack the jacquard. It would be difficult to find in an H store due to its age. Occaisionally, it pops up on Ebay and to my knowledge and never been faked.

Does anybody know whether the bolduc design scarfs/pocket squares will be repeated? There are a couple of bolduc twillys left in my local store but all the scarfs and pocket squares are gone.:crybaby:

I have no idea how often they are reissued. You can find the scarves every now and then on ebay. The pocket squares are usually available, if you are patient you find them at a good price. The twillys are often quite expensive. Be sure to recheck the Hermes website periodically as what is on offer changes often.
