Dear experts,

Would you please help me with the following questions? A million thanks.

1) is it possible for a 90cm carre be 88-89cm long/wide? (Especially if the scarf is new and came out after 2006). Is it a sure sign that the scarf is a fake?

2) If the design is not a popular one (monsieur et madame to be specific), will there be less fakes?

3) Can someone tell me the difference between a hand-rolled hem and a machine sewn hem?

Best regards
I am not certain how the counterfeiters decide what to fake, although popularity seems like the place to start. I don't think that MetM has been knocked-off as of it.

Does anyone know what years this was issued (80's originally I think but I think there has been a reissue), what the available colors were and what the source material for the design was? There is some wonderfully crazy stuff going on in this scarf!

it's one of the few H scarves with female nudity on it. the writing on the scarf says ' I count the hours among the flowers at Hermes Paris'

The 2000 reissues are in subdued colors while all the previous editions were in more vibrant colors. The black 2000 colorway has more white than the previous black colorway which had grey and fushia in it.

Luxury Zurich has the following dates on it which I believe are correct:

Firstissue: 1986/87
Resissues: 1989/90 1990/91 2000
Additional infos: 2001/02: Issued in 90cm cashmere/silk.
