ari - the H stores in Singapore display the fluid jerseys hanging on some knots. and as for scarves, you have to ask them, cos some stores might not have space to display it. when I ask for scarves, they will open the drawers and check. I never notice them going to the back though.

The fluid jerseys are really pretty and nice, but the SA said it's very fragile, if you pull a thread e.g. with your finger nails or caught on things, the run is very obvious. I have never own any yet, so can't tell you my personal experience. But they H-it-nicely as tops:) cos it's elastic....but 100% silk

Robee, I am late to this post, but I wanted to chime in with my limited newbie experience (three fluides). My SA discouraged me from getting one for the reasons you listed above. I ended up buying my first when she was on vacation. I loved it and bought two more. Not only am I terribly careless, but I am hard on them and use them as tops - no runs - knock wood lol. Also the white border seems remarkably resilient against dirt - which to me is an inexplicable wonder :) HTH! hugs to you.

I agree, sounds like Tigre Royale. There is a pic of the shawl in the GM Shawl thread in the Reference subforum. Check it out.

Seton, I never forgot your wise words of advice re a brick and mortar resller in london that had both real and fake H. that I found invaluable! I am so glad to see you back! :D

Hello, I just bought a scarf and it s my first Hermes. It feels quite solid and not very silky, more like artificial fabric. Is this normal? It has tarotcards detailing on it. Please help me, was this a scam?

The ad is still there:

Wow, is that Le Tarot? I've never seen that coloration, but that doesn't mean it wasn't issued. If it is very stiff, it may be due to the amount of sizing in it and will soften up with wear. I actually rinse out the sizing on super stiff ones, but that process isn't for the feint of heart. If you are concerned about it being a fake, perhaps you can take close up pictures of the copyright, signature, title, care tag and hems and post them in the authentication thread.

Hi there

I am very new to this forum and I discovered it accidently while looking for fake Hermes scarves.

This forum is very informative and fun.

I am interested in this scarf, the colour is strong and vibrant and just perfect for fall ... I just want to know if this is the genuine thing.
