well. . im not quoting the label. . it's out in the car . . I was more concerned about a BLACK LABEL. . and the fact that it says MADE IN PARIS instead of MADE IN FRANCE . . .has anyone seen this label ?

I was wondering if any of you know the name of this scarf. I love how it looks and want my SA to hunt down one for me. I'm not sure why the H website doesn't list the names of the scarves

BTW, how do you scarf experts know the names of the scarves, the designers, and the year of production? Do you get the info from the H scarf booklets (I only have a couple) or do you have a different source. I feel kinda dumb :push: reading your posts and not knowing which designs you're talking about.

I thought the name of that one was En Duo. It's pretty, and well-executed graphically, IMO.

I was under the impression that the website omits details so that they don't help counterfeiters. The scarf booklets are slightly more detailed, but they still keep lots of information out.

in search of.... I don't think your SA needs to do a lot of hunting as this scarf is part of the current collection.

There are databases for Hermes scarves that are part of collector's groups, so don't feel dumb!

gga & hello, thanks for the info. so this scarf is from the current collection. it reminds me of the ribbon we used in rhythmic gymnastics when I was younger.

i only have 3 H scarves right now but would love to expand my collection. are the databases you mentioned accesible by the lay public or do you have to be a member of some sort?

Here are some pics of my very first Hermes scarf! I could not choose between this version and her silk mousseline cousin on the luxury-scarves site... so I bought 'em both. Will post pics of the other soon:

I have no idea whether this design has been counterfeited or not, but there is an H scarf in that pattern. It's called "Plats et Desserts." I don't know the designer. Does any scarf fiend here know who designed it?

Anyway, it's a really great scarf. I'm currently coveting one desperately.

Ms Twilly, wonderful, wonderful scarves! I love that pattern!

Gga, impressive scarf knowledge! I couldn't find a reference on it (yet). Very nice (and yummy) scarf!

Thanks, hello.

I hope you find a reference for it. I know the name and that it was most probably inspired by the illustrations from 19th century French etiquette/food service/gastronomie sorts of books. It's evocative, but not exactly like any given reference I can think of right now.

I love scarves.
