Hermes makes a lot of dark blues - anything from a mid blue to a dark inky blackish-blueI've just received a lovely "Libres comme l'air" in finesse. The seller no longer has the H color info, and advertised it as navy and gold. It seems to be actually black (which I prefer anyway). It has a fabulous contrast hem in gold. Does anyone know the actual CWs that were issued for this?
Here it is compared to "Astres et soleils" in finesse (black and silver, no contrast hem).
Thanks for your help!
Thanks, marietouchet. I was curious about the officially named CWs. No matter! I guess when I wear this with navy I will consider it navy, and when I wear it on black, it will read as black! Very useful scarf, in that case!!Hermes makes a lot of dark blues - anything from a mid blue to a dark inky blackish-blue
Lots of people have different opinions about blacks & blues - what is black to me is blue to you etc, depends a lot on the lighting eg fluorescent ?
Thank you Mary Touchet. So only CSGM. happy New Year.
Maybe I post a pics over here later. Pls help me to check...
Newbie and hermes scarf addict! Thankfully this insane obsession for these scarves has remained with the 90 cm carres. Anyway, there is an unknown substance on my scarf. It has mildly dis colored the front and completely taken the color from the back. What should I do? I am scared to even take it to the dry cleaner. Any advice is appreciated! (Sadly, I have no clue what the substance wasthis first image is the front.
The spot may never come out but I would try washing it with a bit of spot cleaning first - I use SHOUT IT OUT - it is worth a try This refers to the whitish blob on the front - near the white antelope
This design is so busy that the spot will not show hardly at all
The scarf ties identically along the two biases so, just tie it the other way - so that the spot is folded inside, not on the hanging corners
