https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/marc-jacobs-quilted-colorblock-bag-lera-mika-etc.273019/ A added an older thread. I was searching for the bag which is still in the mail and can’t wait to get it and while reasearching, found it in the forum year 2008. will certainly post a pic when it’s here. To make the wait shorter, a little bit of reading. 😆 no wonder why I fell in love with this style. Not quite vintage but on its way. 😀
Amazing find!! I've also been lurking this forum for old posts to help me identify bags but also to see old Marc bags that I'm not familiar with.

I actually just found a very rare vintage Marc bag on TRR last night because I had just seen it on an old PurseForum post! It's fall 2006 from the limited "Sweet Punk" collection, and the canvas pieces like mine were boutique exclusives.

It was priced so low because The Real Real marked it as fair condition for the hardware being chipped and the bag being scuffed, but that was done on purpose and they were always sold this way! Marc Jacobs also reissued this one in particular in 2017, but with some updates like a Marc Jacobs logo on the front of the new one and a slightly different shape.

The newer ones on TRR are priced similarly to the totes, like in the $200 range but I only paid $80 for mine, which is the original! It retailed for $695 at retail in 2006.

I've attached pictures of the original (left) and the reissue (right) for reference and I'll post pictures of mine when it comes!

Yes! Quilted colorblock line like my avatar 🥰 I do remember that with the off-white bag specifically, you need to watch for color transfer when wearing denim, etc. 👍

I'm so glad to be here! I was in love with the Stam in the early 2000s, but was not in a position to buy one, and by the time I could, it had been discontinued. I was also never much of a vintage shopper because my OTT perfectionism made it hard for me to accept flaws on anything, so I never shopped for a pre-owned Stam, but I've really been working on it for the last couple of years and have become a lot more comfortable with vintage and pre-owned pieces. So, now I'm on a journey to add a lot of the bags that I missed the first time around, and the Stam is at the top of my list. I've added two so far (an orange/red python-embossed and a bordeaux patchwork) and have a third on the way (a standard navy quilted), along with several other MJ bags from that same era.

I was able to dig my older Marc Jacob’s bags out. My little stam has never been used. I bought it a very long time ago- all tags attached. It just been added to my drawer. Brown is not really my color but I still love this bag😀. Can not part with it. The other bag is not 20 years old but at least 10-14. can also not remember the style. I liked it because of its color, the golden hardware and no logo visible. Its exotics. 🥺I will not buy those things anymore, this has changed. I wore it once and will stay as well in my closet. I like that the inside is fully lined in leather. 😊

Thanks for sharing! Out of curiosity, could you post a picture of the tag of the brown one? I'd love to know the style name
