Wish I would've checked here before sending anything to them. I have a Gucci camera bag I bought during the pandemic (impulse purchase) and it's gotten little use because it's too small. Got a really good quote for it and sent it in, and got the same vague "rejected due to internal guidelines". It's in pristine condition, and I know its authentic, but now I'm terrified of the condition it'll be in when it's returned. Never again.

Thank you for the information, I currently have two quotes through Rebag now that are two times higher what I've been quoted through Yoogi's (I don't mess with FP anymore), but I've been scared to send them in because there have been a rash of youtube videos recently talking about their Rebag nightmares. Maybe I'll give them a try.
Same bad experience as many. They quoted them cut it in half after I’d organized another purchase. Never again.

I absolutely believe they use the higher quotes to lure buyers into trade-ins, and then they backtrack on trade/cut quote so you just purchase the item outright. Nice try, not falling for it :tdown:
Apparently. How disingenuous. This would have been my first (now last) attempt to trade with them.

Oh no, I remember you, were you traded an Hermes Kelly bag for their HAC Birkin? So you ended up get half of what you quoted for after bought that HAC Birkin?
Yup. I didn't take it. Told then to cancel and return my Kelly. A 70% reduction on a bag I carried once. What a scam. Guess I'm catching on now.

@onlyk Is right the HAC is generally lower in price since it's not as popular. Buy what you love though!

Rebag lowered my quote by $400 a few weeks ago claiming a small mark was on the outside. I was bummed but had already bought something else and felt I had to take the lower offer. I'm going to be cautious with them now because they do revise the high quotes down.

I just need to come on here to warn everyone about the changes and trouble I and others have experienced with rebag.

They no longer insure their shipments. Their new terms state that the Risk of loss is on you and not Rebag. I was doing a trade with them and they told me one of the items was missing from the box.

When I asked for video they claimed to have on this they showed me nothing. Later I received an email saying my bag was checked in. I reached out again and they said it was a glitch! It's been over 2 weeks since this has started and they still haven't paid me for any of the items I've given them.
I did post a video on Youtube with all the emails and evidence I have. But if anyone else has advice I would greatly appreciate it

Wow :sad: really sorry this happened to you.
Its shocking also they have eliminated insurance/responsibility for lost/stolen/damaged bags. I will think twice before buying or selling to them after seeing your video. Thank you for alerting us, and please update us when there is a resolution.
Exactly they have been terrible. Just filed my complaint with the BBB
 
Wow. This is just awful, you are out your bag and money. How Rebag responded to you and handled this situation is very revealing about their company. I’ve sold bags to them, and have purchased a number of bags from them too. While they have this risk of loss clause in place, i will not be buying or selling to them. What a horrible business practice - they clearly do not care about their customers. And it opens the door to employee and carrier theft. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us, and i am so sorry this happened to you :(

Its good you have a dedicated thread for this, but i encourage you to go link this thread, with a summary, over on the main Rebag thread. This thread will get lost, but a lot of people go to that Rebag thread, and they need to know about Rebags zero responsibility policy.
