I saw you posted it — i would just write something too, a few sentences/overview, to explain what happened and that they can go to that thread you linked to read in more detail, or folks might scroll by and not understand…..sorry, its the teacher in me
I am so sorry to hear this happened to you. Have you tried to reach out directly to Fedex or UPS to see if there could be a claim that is filed? Last year someone posted that the UPS driver helped them get intouch with the claims manager and soon after their item was promptly checked in and they were paid. I've sold to them a few times, even just last week. I guess I was lucky and will not sell to them in the future

I'm having a similar issue with Rebag. It started in February. I dropped the package off at The UPS Store. I got a receipt. There were no other scans of the package. I have contacted Rebag at least once a month. At first I got a promising email from customer service. And, they provided a claim number. But, when I call the agent can only tell me my issue has been escalated to management. I can't file a claim with UPS because Rebag purchased the label. I've opened a complaint with BBB.
Hi all! I just purchased this item linked below (Bottega knot clutch) from Rebag and now reading this is scaring me. I’m wondering if this bag looks real from the pictures they posted? (I’ve yet to receive the item) And what services can I use to quickly authenticate the bag? I live in NYC.
Also, reading about them falsely claiming they received empty boxes gives me PTSD! I dealt with that from Nordstrom(!) when I returned a $2.5k+ bag and had to go through the hassle of reaching out to them to demand video proof (and them telling me they had some kind of proof but I’d need a court order to see it?!), filing a BBB complaint which got their attention, and also disputing the credit card charge, which is what finally resolved the issue, because thank God my credit card company blocked the charge after Nordstrom didn’t provide them any evidence. It was such a frustrating experience and would not want to deal with it again! That’s such a scam and I wonder how much they steal from people doing that.

Yes it’s nice but it’s not as bright as pictured, very muted red/burgundy (not sure if that’s the China red). I’m thinking of returning and getting a new knot instead.
