Well done - I am glad to learn about these and I know I've always been glad when counters in cafes have hooks installed.
Just ordered a hematite clipa and will see how it works! Bet it could be useful for shopping bags at the mall also.

Lovely. I've never thought about this. I always put my purse on the stroller and tell my 3 months old son to take care of it. The purse is one of my baby
The Clipas are great, I hang it on the outside of the bag so it's handy when I need it.
That Fumi clip looks like it would work well.
BTW, if you are caught in a restroom without a hook to hang your bag, grab a few paper towels to put on the floor then place your bag on the towels (better than hanging it around your neck LOL)

I only have the table kind, it is Hello Kitty with rhinestones, my DH got it for me for Christmas gift, love it. But the other kind looks like something I'll have to get. I NEVER set my bag on the floor or counter in a restroom. I'll look those up. Thanks for the info.

My bf KNOWS my bag gets a seat whenever we go out to eat. So no tables fit for JUST two.
Same with the movies. Bag gets seated in the seat next to me.
This happens anywhere that involves sitting.

I have a handbag hook from Nordstrom. I don't even know where it is!! LOL
(Obviously not in my bag!!!) It sounds like the Clipa is the best so I might have to get one!!!

LOL, my hooks are not the clipa so they are also often misplaced too. I checked out the clipa's web site and thinking I need to get one.
When I am on the train I like keeping my hands free for reading or texting, etc. so it is convenient to hang my bag directly in front of me.
Last night we went to see a play and there were no empty seats to set my bag so I hung it from the seat in front of me and was able to relax and enjoy the show.
When I use the seat in front of me I always hang it near the end and in no way touching or bothering the person in that seat. They don't even know it's there!
I like to rehab vintage bags and I often wonder why someone would have treated a beautiful, expensive bag so badly.
And I think that throwing pens and pencils and markers and make-up into your bag so that they have a good chance of opening up and ruining the interior is a big sin!
When I rehab older bags I always find that ink marks are the worst thing to try and eliminate!

OP, please show us pics of your Fumi hooks when you receive them; I have never seen that brand before but they look very attractive!
My friends bought me a very pretty lady bug purse hook and when I use a short handled bag and there is no extra chair then I use the hook. One day I used it on my Marc Jacobs shoulder bag. Of course the bag was on the floor because of the strap but I thought what the heck at least it is within my sight. For the first time in my life the waitress accidently dumped my entire breakfast on the floor and everything landed face down and I swear those eggs were less than an inch from my bag when they came to rest. I grabbed the bag and it was still clean and the mess was picked up right away. I did not get mad at the waitress because it was an accident but I thought, boy, the first time I have a bag on the floor this happens. For the rest of the meal my bag was in my lap.
