Purse Hooks / Hangers

Great suggestion, the Clipa. I just ordered a gold and a silver. I have a purse hook in my bag, but it doesn't seem to want to hold two larger purse handles at a time. Also, I forget I have in there. The Clipa seems large enough to hold any size handle and with it hanging on the bag, it is hard to forget it.

TBH I think it's "weirder" to demand that my bag occupy an entire chair, as though it's another person at the table, especially when I'm in a small or crowded restaurant and chairs are at a premium. Or if I'm seated with another person at a table for two...it feels odd to pull up a third chair for my bag or hang it on back of my chair.

The real issue for me isn't purse hooks, it's where to put clutches without taking up a whole chair. LOL

I love the idea of the purse hook but it's not practical for me. I usually don't like to stretch my handles out so I don't ever hand my bags on anything. If I don't have a chair to put my bag on, I'll get an extra napkin, and put the bag on the floor on top of the napkin.

holy cow!! i totally NEED a clipa! i got just a regular purse hook that has a cute margarita on the it but i dont ever use it b/c i have to take it out of my bag or i'll forget...and the TIME that i always complain about my purse is when i'm at the movies. i usally carry my fiances phone/wallet/keys on top of my own so i dont use wristlet to the movies and looking at this purse hook..well its the ANSWER! and would def. come in handy when going to those bathroom stalls that have no hooks! oh and i LOVE the fact that you can just lift of your bag and go! no hassle of having to put the purse hook back in its place/worrying its going to attack anything in your pricey bags

I often don't hang the bag by the handles because it may make them hand too low. I frequently use the hardware, like one or two of the the rings that attach the strap to the bag.

Great, let us know how you like it! I was just using mine on the train ride home from work. I suspended my bag from the back of the seat in front of me. So I didn't have to hold it on my lap and it left my hands free to read my book and enjoy eating an apple!

I got my polished silver Clipa yesterday! Super quick shipping. I haven't had a chance to try it outside yet but have played around with it at home and it seems to work great.

It's funny - since I read this thread I've been more and more aware of situations where it really would have been helpful. Doctor's offices, restrooms, restaurants. I am really starting to understand why folks love it!

I know! My favorite example is a crowded Church pew, you can hang your bag on the back of the pew directly in front of you!

I am so glad that more and more of you are starting to understand why Clipa is the best handbag 'hook' ever - it took me a while to 'get it', too, but once I got one - . They are truly a godsend. What I like is that they have so many colors and 'designs' - from understated class to unabashed bling. :D

My Clipa in action...public restroom with no hook! It is holding up my Puma gym/errands bag (used mainly on weekends when I basically am dressed in gym wear) which has A LOT of stuff in it.
