Love the purse hook I have (it's similar to the Macy's ones--the hook wraps around when you put it away), but I've noticed that my bags (especially my large hobos) hang too low if the table's a bit shorter. Any suggestions? Are there better hooks I can buy so I don't have this problem? TIA!

Clipa. Best purse holder ever. You can leave it on your bag strap, it's that good.

Another vote for Clipa!

Infinitely better than traditional purse hangars. Well worth the few dollars more. I love that it comes in different finishes so I can match my bag hardware. Another big plus is how you can leave it on the strap all the time.

I have 2 clipas (gold and silver colors) and I feel that they are much better than many of the other pursehook designs that I have used in the past, because clipas are versatile and can be used in a variety of situations, not just on the edge of tables - I've used them on church pews, restroom doors, etc.

In the past I've only used them occassionally (but I was always happy that I had one with me when I needed it!) but lately I have been using them a lot.

This summer I've started taking the crowded commuter train into the city to work and I often use a clipa to hang my purse on the back of the seat directly in front of me. That gets it off my lap so that I can easily read, enjoy my cup of coffee and banana, etc. The rounded, padded clipa edges do not harm the vinyl seat covers at all.

They are heavy duty, too! Yesterday I used a clipa to suspend my fully-loaded Isabella Fiore leather bag that has solid brass hardware (one of my heaviest bags) and it was no problem! Go Clipa!

I see women dumping their bags on the filty floor of the commuter train all the time and it makes me ill! :yucky:
I always use my purse hook..... there is a restaurant that my husband and I frequent and the chair back will not allow for me to hang by bag. I also love to keep my eye on it...
