Sometimes that serious sofa causes major issues - I could do with one of those handbag clips - I was at a meeting the other day & the straps on my bag wouldn't go over the back of the chair & I had to put my bag on the floor (shock, horror!)

In which case you clearly NEED one (unlike me - 2 Clipas, 2 Hookups!) srsly it is a practical item, and there have been some public toilets where I have been more grateful for mine than I want to describe.

Hi, I would recommend the long hook compare to the foldable handbag hooks. They are both nice and practical in their own way so it's a question of test. Maybe the long handbag hooks are a bit stronger.

I have one that folds flat. I've hardly ended up using it though. I feel like hanging my purse on the hook stretches out the handle, especially when the bag is heavy.

I use one on my desk at work, although it won't work with a long strap bag.

I have two pursae hangers--one is faily typical looking, the other is silver and looks like large bangle. When you twist it apart it becomes a hanger. Sadly, I end up be too lazy to use either so it winds up sitting on the floor more often than not.

I really like the Clipa that IndiaInk recommends. Since I got 2 of them (on her earlier post like a year ago) I've given away all my other hooks. The Clipa is by far the most practical.
