thanks for all the tips !!! the clipa sounds the best so far:D

my clipa just arrived today. it is totally amazing. it's not as cute as my luxelink, but it feels totally solid. even though i don't need to do so, i've got my bag hanging on it now. i even tried it with my husband's Daniel MM, and it was great with that too. it is large enough that the wide strap on my delightful MM fits (it doesn't sit totally flat but it is much better than some of the other purse hook options). one of the pics on the website showed wearing it as a bangle bracelet, and shockingly, it isn't too bad/tacky. LOL.

Would definitely recommend the Clipa (very sturdy and brainless to use). I bought a silver swarovski studded Clipa on sale from pursebling.com -- free shipping plus 10% off code BCARD1.

Thank you for the coupon code. I just bought my brushed gold clipa for $18 and change for my very first Louis Vuitton purchase, a speedy 35 in Damier ebene. I want to be able to do all the means to protect my investment purchase and having a purse hook will definitely come in handy during sticky situations. :)

I'm glad the photo of the bathroom stall was helpful! It is so hard to balance your bag on your lap or try and find something else to hang it on.

I am just really a fan of the clipa, despite having the ones that can hang off of a flat table in the past. It's just so easy to use and fits so many more places. I used it in the grocery store the other day because my basket was getting full. I was able to hang it on the handle. I've also used it in the car and hung it on the headrest of the passenger seat.

Whoever invented this thing is a genius and I wish them success. Thanks to the person who posted about it to begin with.

(I have no stake in the company, I just bought two clipas and think they are the coolest things since sliced bread, lol!)

I just ordered the zippered x-jumbo pursetogo and a FUMI purse hook (after considering the Clipa) about 30 min ago, because I loved the fact that it can be worn as a bracelet too! Very versatile!

From pursebling.com

Will probably be about a week til I get though, hope it's worth it :thinkin:

Clipa from Pursebling.com!!

I got mine after reading about it in this thread and it is great!!

I love that it stays attached the handle of your bag (and looks nice) and that it can be used over doors, doorknobs, bathroom stalls, over the car headrest, and on flat surfaces and tables.

I have a really cute hook I got at Steinmart here in NC.......but I don't carry it because it just adds more weight to my bags to carry it around! So, sorry to say, I don't use it.

If I'm in a restaurant, my bag sits in a chair next to me, or in MY chair, next to me.
Purse hooks are a great idea.....I just don't use one.

I bought several purse hooks from Silverhooks. They used to have a model that is also a keychain so you can either hook it on a D-ring, on the outside as a bag charm, or on your key chain so you are never without one! Great buy. They were on sale and I bought 5 of them to give as gifts too:)

I'm thinking of buying a handbag hook and can't decide whether to buy one that folds away, or a fixed one. I was wondering if anyone has experience of using a hook, and which type you would recommend?
