What a great site! Still haven't got around to choosing myself a hook yet:smile1:

I got a really cute one at Target a few weeks ago. It was on display next to the Linea Pelle line. They had cute shapes like owls, dragonflies and butterflies (nothing like the ones online).

Also, if you ever buy a BCBG purse, it is included hiding in the inside zipper pocket. (I got my first one that way. :D)

Wanted to show you guys what I enjoy most about the Clipa - so my husband doesn't have to move my bag from the kitchen chair every time he wants to sit at our kitchen computer, I easily hang my bag off the back of the chair with the Clipa. Yes, I could just hang it with the strap, but this way the strap doesn't get pulled crookedly. This same concept also works super-well for hanging on stall doors in bathrooms or other places where there may not be a hook. When you're ready to go, just grab your bag; the Clipa comes off whatever you've got it hanging on and closes (it's some kind of spring-loaded), falls down your strap, and off you go, all in one smooth motion.

Robert Verdi recommended the Clipa also. The finish on it is just amazing. Very high quality. Love!!!!

I have 2 clipas (gold and silver colors) and I feel that they are much better than many of the other pursehook designs that I have used in the past, because clipas are versatile and can be used in a variety of situations, not just on the edge of tables - I've used them on church pews, restroom doors, etc.

In the past I've only used them occassionally (but I was always happy that I had one with me when I needed it!) but lately I have been using them a lot.

This summer I've started taking the crowded commuter train into the city to work and I often use a clipa to hang my purse on the back of the seat directly in front of me. That gets it off my lap so that I can easily read, enjoy my cup of coffee and banana, etc. The rounded, padded clipa edges do not harm the vinyl seat covers at all.

They are heavy duty, too! Yesterday I used a clipa to suspend my fully-loaded Isabella Fiore leather bag that has solid brass hardware (one of my heaviest bags) and it was no problem! Go Clipa!

I see women dumping their bags on the filty floor of the commuter train all the time and it makes me ill! :yucky:

I've got a simple bag hook- not a clipa but it's the best & smartest thing I've ever bought.

I'm using it to place my bags esp during meals instead of having it on my lap! Can't stand the thought of placing my bag on dirty floor.

I use a purse hook all the time. No way would I EVER put one of my bags on the floor. And I hate eating with my bag on my lap. These things were a great invention and their are so many really pretty ones.:smile1:
