I got two as a gift and neither worked. I had the same problems as ayla.

Mine was a gift. I would only use it if I was desperate. It's a cute idea but it only works with certain tables. Sometimes it makes me concerned because I'm afraid that having my purse dangle on the hook makes it easier for the wait staff to spill something on my purse when they walk by if I don't have a table against a wall. With small tables for two, it gets in the way of my leg space because I have to sit away from the bag or else I'll knock it over. I've also gotten strange looks from people. I prefer to just put my bag behind my back. It sits between my back and the chair.

I have several and I always have one inside my bag whenever I go out. I don't use it often but you never know when you'll need one.

A lot of people stop to ask me where I got it and find them very practical.

I have one I carry around. It works if the table is thin enough but if I can put my bag on a chair instead, I do that. So between the fact that it doesn't fit a lot of tables and that a chair is preferable, I rarely use it.

I have two ring types, Clipa and Hookup. They stay on my strap and I can find them! I can use the Clipa one handed on almost anything, super fast and easy. The hookup takes two hands to open or close it but it is a cute heart. Mostly I use the Clipa cause it's so convenient and matches my LV hardware.

I've never used one so I don't really know, but I'm not keen on having a dangling handbag tbh, but never say never!

I agree too for now..not sure I like the look of my bag hanging from a table or whatever..I do see the usefulness of it though.

I have 2 Hookups, one in gold and the other in platinum, to go with the hardware on my handbags.
I absolutely them, and now I can't imagine how I did without a Hookup.
No more placing handbags on my lap, and no more asking waiters to bring me another chair for my handbag!

I received one as a gift years ago and it looked really nice but it did not work unless the bag was small and super light, and even then it was a hit or miss. However last year I was in Dubai and I picked up one that was moderately priced and I love it. It is very pretty and colorful (its a sort of flower design with colored stones) and came in a drawstring pouch so its easy to carry around. I always have it in my bag, it has never not worked. I dont use it that much but when I do need to it comes in handy. I think some really do not work, you need to try them out beforehand.

I ordered one online and so far it worked when trying out (however, I didn't put in as much stuff as I sometimes do in my bags, even though the hook is supposed to hold up to 20kg I'm not sure if the table can stand this). Have yet to try it outside my house lol
