Ok so you know what I am talking about right? The ones you use on a table end that can hold your purse. So to all that have/use one, does it work? It seems like it would plop off the table if a bag is semi heavy. Or, does it hold up very well. Is it worth any amount of money? Do you find that hanging your bag on the side of a table is not a good idea? I would like to hear opinions of this item. I just ordered one online (didn't pay alot) and would like to know if it actually works. Twice this week I put on speedy on the floor between my feet. The second time I got smart and carried a large coach dust bag and put my speedy inside and then put it on the floor between my feet under the table.

My brother bought me one.. and I thought it was fabulous until I tried using it. It did not work out at all, many times tables just weren't "thin" enough to have the purse hanging, and my Trevi was sometimes heavy enough to cause a table to tip with the hook on.

It was a nice thought, but completely useless. :sad:

They are fantastic. Some work a little better than others, but I have never found one that doesn't do the job. I have heaps (one left permanently in each of my bags) so I never get caught without one when I need it! Mine are cheap ones though, not LV unfortunately!!

I love them! I guess it depends a bit on the one you are getting, some are better as to balancing the weight than others... I use them on my speedys, but they work best when you have a bag with only 1 strap, it just hangs straighter.

I love my purse hooks. I have a bunch of them....many strategically placed in several places I frequent like the office, my mom's, etc. I also have a spare in my car, one in a wristlet in my bag.... haha I think they are awesome!

I use mine all the time. Never had any issues with it at all. I have the one that folds around itself and fits in a little velveteen bag. I think it is the best invention, I never have to worry about having an extra chair to put my bag on in a restaurant, and I don't have to try to balance it on my lap or feet. It's really a simple solution to keeping our bags safe and clean.
