My room mate got back from a convention for work with one. She said some lady handed her a little velvet envelope and told her it was a handbag holder. We tried it out when she got home and WE FELL IN LOVE!!! I ordered a few right away one for my mom and my sister - we always complain about putting our bags on the floor and the men in our lives dont understand. Here is the website, I totally recommend them and they are quite sturdy they even hold my laptop bag which is pretty heavy.

I walked into Icing today looking for nothing in particular, and right by the register they had a rack of purse hooks for $10 each. They were mostly silver metal, but they did have one gold one. The gold one was a round disc with leopard print. In the silver, they had a fleur de lis, a martini glass, a zebra print disc, two purses (silver or black/white enamel, and two shoes (silver or red enamel). I grabbed a silver purse design. Here's a pic:

The hook is very sturdy. It apparently holds up to 15 pounds. It tucks away in my purse nicely as well. It's about time a retailer got a clue and starting carrying these. The girl who checked me out even said she wondered why more stores that sell bags didn't carry them. :heart:
