Purse Hooks / Hangers

I can't remember the exact price but I think I paid either £125 or £155 for the one with Dior, my other one has a heart padlock and key I got that in the sale and think I paid about £82.

As for weight I've seen websites say 20kg, I tested the Corsaire I had on one and it held that fine and that was a REALLY heavy bag

Thank you Label Addict! I was just curious on the pricing. :D they're beautiful, but I don't know if I could justify paying that much just for a purse hook. But I'm surprised it's capable of handling such a heavy bag, I hope the more affordable ones are just as durable.

My mom and both have them, we love them!!! I've noticed them becoming more popular, my friend got one from her boyfriend's mom and actually hung her bag off her desk when we took our final, which is great when you're in a packed classroom, with no extra chairs to put your bag on.

I love turtles and found this one off ebay a year ago, love mine!

Thank you for all for educating me on these! What a great idea!!

Here is one that states it holds up to 34 pounds:

I've just looked at the ones on Amazon too--have to keep researching--I want some!

Oh my god...I dont think I could ever get this one solely for the pictures they have on their site. Check out the "Photos" tab and then "Elegant at the Bar" pic. Seriously, long satin gown with a beer? And with those man-made marvels? Ummm....no thanks. Either she is the owner (with no class) or the owner is a slime.

I love the idea and would really like to get one, but I have to admit part of me thinks the idea is sort of a cheezy TV pitchman product and would be slightly embarassed. So I guess Im too insecure to use one just yet.

Whatever I do - looks cool. (OK at least this is what I tell myself) If I do it with aplomb - everyone will want what I have. There are lots of bars now that have the handbag hook underneath the bar. It reminds me of the "silent butler" my mother used to carry in her purse - it was a tiny ashtray with a lid that you could carry in your purse. I say she "used" to carry it because smoking killed her, alas. But my point is - it was a handy item from another era.

I have one that I got from theanimalrescuesite.com - not only is it a great necessity, my purchase also helped feed homeless animals. It's so cute - it has little paw prints on it! I went to lunch with my co-workers and they all told me how cute it was and what a great idea. I don't care what anyone else thinks, but I am NOT putting my bag on the floor - sometimes I don't even want to put it on a chair LOL! My bags tend to be pretty big and sometimes can get heavy, but my purse hook takes it like a man!

Thanks for making me laugh!!! :smile1:

Here's a much nicer looking site and there is a sale link too!! Although, I wish the details indicated how much weight each purse hook can handle.

Stopped in because I read the title & I have to say these items do come in handy.Perfect example happened today. We went out to eat with the kids & I had my trusty big tote that had the kids jackets in it & my personal things. I popped out the purse hook & hung it from the end of the table when we sat down to eat & a)I was able to see my bag at all times so it was safe & near me & b)it really did hold the weight of the bag perfectly.Mine is from silverhooks.com & come available in so many styles it was hard to chose & gold or silvertone.
