i own one and always forget to bring it with me....got it pretty cheap, 2 (one silver, one gold) with a clear rhinestone on top for less than $10 at bed bath and beyond. recently found it and wondering if i'll actually remember to bring it with me....

I have one... It is funny how I got it. I went out to walk my dog and as soon as I got to the street I looked down and I saw one just laying there on the sidewalk. I was so excited and my DH was like what the heck is that. But now he knows

I have 2 pretty cloisonne ones and I always forget to use it. In fact, I don't know where I've placed it.

beljwl, that's a really funny story! Your DH must be wondering what is it that you found on the sidewalk that got you so excited. LOL!

I saw a lady use it at a restaurant once, thought it was pretty nifty. I might pick one up at Nordstrom sometime. I hate having to put my bag behind me when I'm sitting down.

I wonder how much the Dior ones cost? Those are sexy as heck, but I can't imagine the price for that. *goes off to look at Verni's threads*

I got one as a christmas gift but it's not that useful for me because most restaurants I frequent has extra chair OR have enough room behind me on the chair. Plus, i don't like to carry it around whenever i leave the house. And it clutters my bag when i leave it in my bag. So for me, it's just pretty to look at :p

yeah, i think my friends would probably laugh and chuckle but if it really came down to it, it just shows i'm way cooler than them b/c i'm able to use my mind and decide i'm trying to protect my babies here. btw...i don't have one but i'd love to purchase one. i just haven't found the right one w/the cute design that grabs me yet, sigh.

Oh I think they're cool. I always carry the 2 I have in every bag I use. And yeah I use them mostly at restaurants. Sometimes I'll get a look from people but I don't care because I'd rather my bag be hanging from the hook then getting dirty on the floor. But then again, I do put them on a chair next to me while in a restaurant. lol. I really love them.

But I wish restaurants and other places had like built in hooks and stuff so you can hang your bags. I went to the Philippines last year and ate at Chili's one time with my family. Didn't have a place to put my bag. The waitress saw and sad they have built in hooks under the table. And this is what it looked like:

I can't remember the exact price but I think I paid either £125 or £155 for the one with Dior, my other one has a heart padlock and key I got that in the sale and think I paid about £82.

As for weight I've seen websites say 20kg, I tested the Corsaire I had on one and it held that fine and that was a REALLY heavy bag
