Purse Hooks / Hangers

I just got a set of two - one gold tone and one silver tone, both have a large clear crystal looking gem on top - it's pretty cute. I try to avoid it, but in a lot of situations there is nowhere else to put it. I do feel eww about putting it on the floor, but I would feel silly hanging it up from the table, especially with a bigger bag. If it is a small bag then it will go on my lap for sure. I never put handbags on counter tops or tables anyway, but it is still ew!

I saw a girl the other day put a WHITE £675 ($1,350) Balenciaga on an unclean floor, when it was small enough to put on her lap (it was a first)! I think that is just madness when it could have been avoided, and when it is so expensive and such an easy colour to dirty.

Have one, but I dont usr it. I dont put bags on the floor either. My lap or the chair ( beside me)

A student of mine bought me one this past Christmas, and I honestly love it. It can hold a ton of weight. Sometimes it's a little awkward if the bag strap doesn't sit in the hook part correctly (like Carly), but I find a way to make it work since I wont put my bag on the floor.

Don't have one, but it really is a good idea to have, especially when your bag might have to sit uncomfortably on your lap or behind your chair.

I keep mine in my purse at all times- I like that I can have my purse right next to me where I can see it, but there's little chance it can get any spills. I hate putting my bags on the back of chairs, and I never put my bags on the floor because of the dirt.

i was just talking about this recently! i love when nice bars or restaurants have the hooks built in to the underneath of the counter - what a difference it makes...i know for sure i'm not putting my fendi on the floor! i need to get my own hooks...

I do have a purse hook that I carry around with me but I rarely use it. The problem is that I carry so much around and my purse is so heavy that the hook looks like it is straining. So most of the time I just put it on a chair next to me, hang it on back of my chair, but not on the floor.

My bag always gets a chair of its own (try to get a booth normally). If that is not available it is either in my lab or on the table. I just cant see carrying around a hook in my purse although I'm sure it comes in handy.

I bought my set of two purse hooks (one gold, one silver) from Walgreens for 9.99. They come in a little velveteen pouch and work great. I've had them for months and they haven't turned or anything.

I will NEVER set my lovely purses on the floor, I work and save too hard not to take care of them. Also, at home my purse stays on the kitchen counter...out of the way.

I have a purse hook that I love and use all the time. I got it at my local Hallmark store.

I do not own a purse hook like that and I think it is a great idea! I rarely put my purse on the ground, only if there is no other option! If we go to dinner then it is on an empty chair or I will hang it off the corner of the chair I'm sitting in. Sometimes my hubby and I will go to The Cheesecake Factory and sit at the bar to eat some munchies and they have those purse hooks that are right under the bar so you can hook your purse right in front of your legs. I love that!
