I ALWAYS carry a purse hook. It's especially handy when the weather is nice and hubby and I eat at outdoor restaurants. No way am I putting my bags on the ground, and putting it in my lap just seems too risky (I'm not prone to dumping my meal in my lap, but you never know!). They're pretty inexpensive (and abundant on ebay), and worth the price if it saves my bags from getting dirty or damaged.

I just got myself a pursehook from *bay, there are plenty going around, but you want one that can hold a significant weight - I think mine does up to 4lbs. I haven't had the chance to use it yet,but will definitely do so when I don't want to put my lighter coloured bags on the floor!

I just posted this pic the other day, but here's a pic of my EB Work hanging for a purse hook given to me by my very generous BalRAOK buddy:heart:.

Yes, I carry one too all the time! They come in very handy, alot of restaurants here in HK have cramped spaces and you just don't know where to place them! Before purse hooks, my bags sit on my lap. Heaven forbid I spill food on them while on the way to my mouth!:p

mine is ladybug my mother got me. we went to the garment district in LA to get fabric and they had lots of them. and they are pretty cheap. well, i don't think 4 bucks is bad at all.

........So, we get in the car to go to happy hour, and I hand my bag to my husband (I was driving) and I say .."This is Bouton d'Or.... do not put her on the floor."

No questions asked. He knew I wasn't joking. He held her in his lap.

^^^ hahaha i always do that to anyone who i'm driving around. and at resturants or at coffe my friends know if i have my bag on a chair, the seat is taken and they bring up another one. i have very understanding friends who only joke about it occasionally.... i just figure they have $40 dollar bags i have $1400 ones.. its a big difference and if i wanted to sell it i don't want scuffed corners or gross stains on the bottoms as i would never buy a bag in that condition so why should someone else have to?

i always carry sooo much stuff in my bags though so i would be scared it couldn't hold the weight and you would think they would be pretty usless if you had a day/courier as they would touch the ground anyway
