I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

So H thought he could write whatever version he felt like using in his book about how he lost virginity because he thought the “older” woman was muzzled by an NDA? He really is a cad and a boor. I wonder what else he wrote about in his book that he thought couldn’t be challenged because the other parties were bound by NDAs which prevented them from telling their side of the story?

It makes me wonder if the ghostwriter disliked Harry by the time the book was almost done. Moehringer could easily have written that episode in a way to make him sound empathetic about it today. He didn’t though.

For PRH, what seems to sell best is perhaps the priority…

If there is one thing that Spare has taught us, it’s that only Harry’s feelings matter. It was 400+ pages of Harry whining about every single time he felt slighted. Of course he never thinks about anyone else, except Meghan of course, when she tells him.

I don’t think there is a conflict of interest. It’s just one of those coincidences that is not a coincidence.

I hadn’t done the math in my head correctly. You could be right and the thought sickens me. Her physical problems will not have improved with age.

Before he became a really vengeful big pile of crap he was a nasty entitled little pile and probably got away with a lot. As I recall there’s a story of him deliberately kicking a bodyguard and Diana thought it was funny.

I think the beloved Diana was a lousy mother. Aside from her myriad emotional issues, she appears to have been extremely childish as an adult. She never saw them and when she did, she tried to be their friend. It is disgusting that she didn't make him behave as a prince should. Or a gentleman. smdh (not sorry to her fans)

I think the beloved Diana was a lousy mother. Aside from her myriad emotional issues, she appears to have been extremely childish as an adult. She was a child having children and it showed. Never matured. How old was she when her mother left? She wasn’t bright enough to overcome it and Harry wasn’t bright enough or didn’t want to overcome Diana leaving him I still maintain that all his love bombing of his mother, aside from the PR aspect, is a coverup for his true anger at her dying so unnaturally and early

I don’t know whether Diana was a good mother or not. But Harry had two parents and one of them didn’t die when he was only 12. Why does Charles get a pass for not raising his son right? Who better to teach Harry how to be a prince than his own father, the prince! He was too busy pursuing his own interests and he didn’t spend enough time with them. The boys were pretty much left to their own devices as teens. Maybe Harry’s drug and alcohol problems could have been avoided if his father had been paying attention to what his son was doing.

True about Charles. There were plenty of other family members around as well. When Princess Charlene was ill, Albert’s sisters stepped up and were with with the twins. He also made a point of taking them to many of his appearances. Recent pictures look like they are all doing well. To paraphrase HC, sometimes it does take a village.
