I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I was running over to my grandmother today and some guy I didn't recognize greeted me enthusiastically. I greeted back somewhat short, didn't give him a 2nd look and kept running. It was only when I was nearly there and put 2 and 2 together (the neighbours have their roof redone, guy was still walking behind me in general direction of grandma's house) I realized it was the kid my grandma's neighbours took in as a refugee years ago who's a trained roofer now. We all love that boy but I hate talking to strangers and he grew a beard since I last saw him. I've literally felt guilty for hours for a pretty mild offence and plan to walk over tomorrow and apologize. And Harry is so freaking callous about something that can only be described as utterly cruel. WTF!

But I agree with everything else you said, reading his description made me hurt so much for her and I do not understand how nobody - not her boss, not maybe some parent whose son mentioned it at home, because not all children are cruel by nature - stood up for her. I would have punished those little sh*ts so hard.

kids can be cruel but that doesn't excuse him thinking it's funny now that he's supposedly an adult

Wait, so the Ginger Prince who was probably only part of the "cool" set of kids at school because well - he was a prince - thought it was not F'd up that he decided to troll a girl with a disability now as a grown man?

So he has a thin skin, can dish it, but apparently can't take it. For the thousandth time...WHAT A HYPOCRITE, let alone an all around $hitty person. He and TW are perfect for each other.

If there is one thing that Spare has taught us, it’s that only Harry’s feelings matter. It was 400+ pages of Harry whining about every single time he felt slighted. Of course he never thinks about anyone else, except Meghan of course, when she tells him.

I hadn’t done the math in my head correctly. You could be right and the thought sickens me. Her physical problems will not have improved with age.

Before he became a really vengeful big pile of crap he was a nasty entitled little pile and probably got away with a lot. As I recall there’s a story of him deliberately kicking a bodyguard and Diana thought it was funny.

I don’t know about as a child but there is a story in his book about him attacking a bodyguard and slapping him in the head as an adult. And this was a bodyguard he really liked!

So he has always lacked any self-control and because he is a prince it is tolerated by everyone around him.

It’s standard practice to try for as much info as possible since you never know when and where you might find a smoking gun. If you think back to a past President’s impeachment hearings, the special counsel started with White water and ended up with Monika Lewinsky. So in this lawsuit, it’s Samantha’s lawyer’s job to cast as wide a net as possible to put as much pressure as possible on TW and it’s TW’s lawyer’s job to try to limit the scope of TW’s and H’s depositions and documents they will have to produce.
