I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Could be. It’s difficult to understand. They had five years to produce content for Netflix and they didn’t do much in that time period for the money they were fronted. I don’t think a post-divorce show is necessarily what Netflix is waiting for, but maybe since they lost so much on the investment they want to make sure they are covered in the highly unlikely event that Meghan and Harry ever come up with a popular show.

A post divorce show is nothing more than a he said/she said. Two people batting their heads together. What is really wanted is gossip about the royals and they have none after all this time.

They may have a first look deal, but there is no money involved. NF isn’t going to make that mistake twice There may be something built in that they get a few bucks to move something viable forward. If so, whatever it is will be given very careful scrutiny.

Surely NF has learnt their lesson to word the contract more carefully this time, with extra penalty clauses. Last round, that big deal contract that the Harkles signed didn't stop them from giving juicy news to other people.

If this contract is signed between Archwell and NF, or between Meagain or HazNoWits and NF, rather than between both the Harkles and NF, there is nothing to stop them from giving away the goodies again in interviews or through "sources close to the Harkles". So long as there is no programme to give NF a "first look", they would be within the letter of the contract.
