I personally prefer my bags to be made in USA. (I was born and still live in the USA) I figure I'm already supporting a high-end French company with my bag choice... the very least I could do is support the workers and employment in my own country by owning bags made here in my country which is suffering from low employment... I feel a little less guilty and actually prouder to carry them. And the quality is absolutely the same. The only problem is that some people are so ignorant about the bags that they think it's a fake if they see made in USA. Someone actually posted once, if it says made in USA it's a for sure fake. Sheesh.

Never mind. I got so paranoid with all the hype of "made in ...." intakes that, I posted this without thinking, haha. My Evora says "Louis Vuitton Paris" on the outside and the inside has a leather tag that's says its made in the USA. I'm already seeing a downside of my Evora and I think it's because it's made from the USA.
You can see loose threads of the leather that holds the gold rings.

aleesara01 said:How long have you had the evora?? I just got one this weekend and if that's how it is going to look in a short amount of time, then she may need to go back!!
Just last monthI'm not sure if this occurred over time or it was there when I purchased it. I must have missed it :/
I wonder if there's a way to peel the loose leather thread without harming the overall leather.
aleesara01 said:Why don't you take it back? If its only been a month, surely they would replace it, or at a minimum repair it.
I'll give it a try. Thanks for the advice. Hopefully, they'll take it back for an exchange or repair. Sf, CA has a 14 day return and exchange policy.
+1most of the members on here tend to prefer made in france are usually wanting a connection of an actual french made product since lv is founded in paris, france.
I don't think their isn't any differences. Just only made in different countries. All materials are source from the same place, but manufactured in different countries. Maybe some do feel their is superior craftsmanship depending where it made. But they are just opinions in the end. Thats all.![]()
