Preference for LV made in France/USA/Spain...??

My mom, my sis and I went on a shopping spree at LV yesterday, as we gift ourselves with birthday and xmas pressies.

It was only when we got home then I took a look at the interior of my monogram Artsy MM and I realise it was made in Spain. I must admit my heart sank as my previous purchase of a Trevi and Eva clutch damier were all made in France. My sister's emilie wallet was made in Spain too.

Only my mom's damier Verona was made in France. I wonder if there's a higher chance of the damier being made in France?

I just prefer my LVs to be made in France, it's just more romantic. Also my friend who worked at Chanel told me that Chanel bags made in France are of better quality compared to Chanel bags made in other places. I will just have to be mindful when I made my next purchase.

I used to think this was a bunch of hooey -- I was like 'Who cares where it's made - they all have the same standards'
But after years of looking at LV on here I see that there is a difference. The France bags seem to have a higher quality - a better standard when it comes to the fine details.

I personally prefer my bags to be made in USA. (I was born and still live in the USA) I figure I'm already supporting a high-end French company with my bag choice... the very least I could do is support the workers and employment in my own country by owning bags made here in my country which is suffering from low employment... I feel a little less guilty and actually prouder to carry them. And the quality is absolutely the same. The only problem is that some people are so ignorant about the bags that they think it's a fake if they see made in USA. Someone actually posted once, if it says made in USA it's a for sure fake. Sheesh.

And that's actually ironic, because I would think that the actual fakes would be *more* likely to say "Made in France" on them than "Made in USA" or "Made in Spain."

I mean, if the lying-cheats are going to lie by making a fake bag in the first place, they'll probably try to make the fake look as "real" as they can (or in other words, make the fake look as "LV" as they can) by slapping a "Made in France" label on it. I would think ... if not always, at least more often than not.

dang it - i just checked ALL my LVs, and no France  the bags are all made in USA, and the accessories (wallets, agenda and cles) all made in spain.

Lol -- i don't really care..i've never checked until now...but still!

Honestly...because all LV products...and LVMH products in general are made to the same specifications, the only difference really is the people who make them. Someone in the usa (SD factory)could have worked at LVMH for 30 years, while someone in the TS factory in France could be new...regardless, the products are all the same, and thats something I love about LV/ LVMH.

In Asia, most are made in France and some made in Spain. I notice some seasonal leather bags are made in italy.

Made in USA is very rare.... I think the lv USA factories supply locally.

Yeay, last night, got a gift from my boss. LV neverfull damier mm made in usa.All my lvs are made in france now I am actually happy I have lv made in USA w/c she has to fight for it because neverfull are sold out anywhere.Shes justvon her business so she can't wait for a month or 2. The quality is no difference at all.

Just wondering if anyone has seen the damier azur speedy 30 both from US and France. To me it looks like the one from France is more of a darker blue that stands out more and the Louis Vuitton stands out more on the canvas. However the piping on the France ones seems all crooked and the made in France leather tag sticks straight out instead of curving down a little. what have others noticed?
