Preference for LV made in France/USA/Spain...??

As long as it's unused and within return period, you should be fine!

I've always asked for items made in France. They usually say that it's not likely they have one, but always end up finding one for me. My sister doesn't care, and all of her LV pieces are made in USA. I think they sell the made in USA pieces to people who don't ask and save the made in France pieces for the picky people (me, lol). Seeing 'made in France' just makes it a little more special to me.

loll thanks alot!! yes its unused it was just on sat when he gave it to me so i didnt bother using it because i was still deciding if i wanted to exchange it for a bag, clutch or keep the wallet. :)

;)I really don't see the difference - a factory is a factory is a factory.

Sorry if I burst anyones bubble, but its not like charming old men, smoking Gauloises in their berets, are sitting around doing the handywork on a speedy in between their games of boules and snacking on croissants and foie gras.....;)

my speedy 25 and 30 (both Damier Ebene) are from France, Mono Eva is from U.S.A.
I honestly did not have a preference, but because of this forum and reading the posts, when i bought my bags, I asked, "Do you have one Made in France?" and for the 2 speedies they did.

Oh, Damier Neverfull MM is USA too... the pochettes are also USA (i think, i havent really looked..)

i just bought a tivoli gm and speedy 25 i was thinking on buying them online but i want to make sure that there brand new so I went to oakbrook mall i had to wait a week for delivery and finally i got it. i came home and notice its made in USA first i was disappointed that its not made in France but now thinking about it most LV fakes that you can buy in Asia are made in France so im happy and looking forward on enjoying my new luxury purse

My new Tivoli GM is made in France, my pochette is made in the USA and my pomme cles is made in Spain. I'm not sure about my Speedy because it's at home right now, but I don't think it matters. I'm just glad they're authentic and beautiful

I prefer LV's that are made in Europe. Even though I have a pochette that is made in USA and I'm going to be getting a speedy that is also made in the US, I think it takes away from excitement.

I think either my first or second bag was made in USA. And when I noticed that later at home, I was a bit puzzled since I thought they were all made in France. This was 10+ years ago and I believe they just started to produce in US. As I bought it myself, I knew it was authentic yet I just did not feel 100% satisfied and again, baffled at the fact how it says USA!

But after that, many many more bags were purchased and I no longer care about such thing. Many Chanel bags are made in Italy and I know there have been discussion over the quality difference of France & Italy for those. Yet I don't think any one of my LV bags had any quality issue due to the location.

Come to think of it, I never ever had any quality issue with any of my LV bags!

Makes me rethink about how much more $$ I forked over for Chanel bags with problems when I could've bought double the amount of LV bags with all that fund. :lawl:

I care about where the bags are made. I prefer MIF when you are spending that much money on a bag it should be made in the country of origin which is France. That is just how I feel!:p

All my LV bags and accessories are made in Europe. Two items are Made in Spain (my BH and Mono Sarah Wallet) and everything else is Made in France. I have some French Company bags (associated with LV from 1970s-1990s) and, of course, they are made in the USA. So, I have a nice balance going. :D
