To all fellow Poleners:

I've been on this forum for a few years and was initially enamored with the Polene brand; I loved its newness, exclusivity, and early prices, which were so affordable. Over a couple of years, I purchased a dozen products from them and even visited their Paris store, and the experience was lovely.

But I think I've fallen out of love with the brand for some reason.

After all the price increases and the many quality issues, I haven't felt like ordering from their site since June 2023.
I'm not sure if it's because I was able to purchase at those early lower prices, and so it's harder for me to pay double for the same items, or if it's also because the brand has become more commercial and trite.

I have sold all of my Polene bags except for one; my Neuf Mini in camel, which for a while was my favorite and most-used bag.
But I haven't actually worn it in over a year. It's just sitting in my closet and I look at it, still admiring its unique design, but something is keeping me from wanting to actually wear it again.

It might be the whole LVMH drama, or the horrible replicas I've seen, even those ugly Quince and BCBG versions. Or maybe because their current prices are now a higher investment that requires more thought and consideration than before. I've been able to sell my Polene bags very fast, which is good, but they do not hold their value.

I'm sad that I feel this way, but I'm just sharing with you, fellow Polene lovers, in case you feel the same, so I can better understand why I'm kind of over Polene. (Apologies to those still in love with the brand and those just discovering it. This is just my honest opinion and point of view.)
I feel you! Actually I am only left with 1 Polene bag that was gifted to me for my birthday which is why it remains in my collection still. Would love to hear what you are up to these days <3

What other brands are you into other than Polene?

I feel like Polene had a massive downturn with their new logo and new branding in ca. 2023. LVMH created all this famous that prices would go up and people went crazy..me included.

Now that I just bought 2 Polene bags I am looking into selling some of my older bags and am actually looking into vintage bags in general. I feel like older Chanel bags had the best quality and still hold up their value.

I think the new bags look cool but I would never buy them. Imagine those numerous loops getting caught on door handles and breaking... also, at £620 does that make them the highest priced Polene bags? I do like the look though.

Still a fan of Polene, still planning on buying a couple of their bags at least. And certainly enjoying the ones that I've already got :flowers:

Absolutely gorgeous!

I love that they are using trends like the east-west style but make it their own. It also has smooth leather outside and nubuck inside. I love polenes smooth leather better than the grain since I got the nodde. Still in love with my nodde.

I wish they never had those massive price increases and I would be tempted to get this one as a going out bag.

Has anyone bought their jewelry? I saw it in the boutique today and looobe the bracelets, would love some reviews on wear and tear
I don't own any of their jewelery but it is made of brass which is the cheapest material to be used for a gold plating process. Vermeil which is 925 silver and gold plated on top has a better longevity in general. I was very disappointed when I saw they use brass.

I have been eyeing the Mokki and tought it was too big...this is perfect.
Waaa I love it. It has only been a few months since I got the Nodde and the Cyme. The price is well too high (for me).
I feel it is similar in size to the Nodde and it would not make sense to get another small bag.

I love all their new releases but i am not considering buying any of them...this one will haunt me hahah.
