I’m starting to head into winter weather where I am and have always wanted a shearling bag and thought this polene one is cute and would be a good start. I don’t own any shearing bags so don’t have any experience with it. There aren’t any polene stores where I am l, so I would have to buy online so would like some advice on the bag before purchasing (without trying first).

Even leather mini numero neuf owners comments on the bag I would be interested in as well. How are you finding the shape and top opening? Is the style functional to carry or is it too big? Would love to hear what feedback you have on the bag as it would help my decision.

Hi, I have that bag and the leather numéro neuf mini. It‘s my favorite Polène bag, the opening is a bit small but everything I need fits. The strap is fine. I mostly use it handheld.
The pseudo-shearling held up well (haven‘t used it a lot though, it‘s very season-specific).

Thanks for sharing @south-of-france That’s great to hear you’re enjoying it. Do you find the shearing gets dirty easily especially when it’s being handheld? Also, in comparison to the leather bag is it heavy or a relatively light bag to carry? Could I trouble you for a picture of the shearing next to the leather bag. Thanks so much!

Working on downsizing my collection this month. I think I'm going to sell the Polene Cyme and Polene Un Nanos that I have. I don't need tote bags and I don't like using flap bags. They can feel bulky but are limited in capacity. I find myself gravitating towards open top bags again. So I'm getting rid of my Polene un nano, celine triomphe bag, kate spade quilted flap bags, dupe box bags, my polene cyme and my demellier midi new york tote. I'm keeping my Coach minetta, gucci horsebit 19655 dupe bag, polene huit, polene neuf, polene dix, and my celine ava and triomphe shoulder bags.

More downsizing/decluttering: I am only keeping my Coach Minetta, Polene Neuf, Huit, and Dix bags.

I am moving and am also decluttering a lot. I sold my nano a while ago and recently the huit. I loved the huit but have other bucket bags. I also do not like flap bags ...took a while to realise haha. I feel like I do not need a collection but love to rotate and get new bags as well. I love my beri but have had it since it launched and would love to swap it for something else. As soon as I put it online I felt regret. I had the same feeling with the huit but now I don't miss it at all. One Polene bag that I will never sell is the micro .. I use it for going on walks 🤣 .. I know that most people think it's such a useless bag but for me it is perfect for walks.

The people who love the micro bags really love the micro bags! The Polene Neuf and Huit aren't for everyone but they work great for me. I like how much space they have and the openings are okay for me with my tiny hands. What Huit did you have? I have been using my Huit mini these days and I ordered a Huit mini in camel color secondhand because I didn't have any more brown bags in my collection and I wanted at least one.
