I'm also thinking about getting a Strathberry, probably their tote. But none of the sizes really float my boat. I'd prefer a size between the nano and midi tote. Do you have a particular model in mind?

Congrats to your new purchase and I agree, the inflation is really bad and we need to be more selective about who deserves our hard earned money. I also have the same policy - 1 in, 1 out, and I try to make sure that each bag doesn't have a duplicate in my closet already because I found myself reaching for the same bag for particular occassions, not rotating them (e.g. a "date night/going out" bag, a "work/errands" bag, etc.). I hope you find a good buyer soon. ;)
Totally agreed. I have the same issue where I notice that I have duplicates but only gravitate towards one of the styles. It's like I keep buying the same bag over and over again, lol. I do the same with my clothes.

I've been eyeing the new Strathberry x SJP collaboration, the City Osette with the chain strap. It might be too small but it is so cute.
I also like the Strathberry chain crossbody bag and the East West collection. I'll probably get something with a chain, since I'm also letting go of my YSL Mini Lou crossbody because I have yet to wear it since October 2022. It's still brand new and just sitting in my closet and I no longer want to keep bags I don't use, regardless of how beautiful they are.

I have the tendency to buy too many bags and only use a few of them. It's almost like I don't know myself well yet so I am trying to curate my own impulses and resist the temptation to get bags just because they're gorgeous or on sale, and only get the ones I actually need and will use. Otherwise, it's just wasted money and closet space.

Same. I bought the last two bags on my wishlist and I'm holding onto purse peace as hard as I can. It's a commitment! Of course, then there's the news about Phoebe Philo dropping her collection in September and I can't help but be curious...

You had me at Phoebe Philo... I had no idea she was coming out with her own line. That sounds like an impossible-to-resist collection.

In the intent to also achieve "purse peace" (love that concept, btw), I have selected a few bags I absolutely love and don't want to sell but must, because I tend to overdo it.
It's a pattern of mine. Sometimes I fall in love with a bag and become obsessed with the idea of having it, and then when I do, I realize it's not practical for me for a number of reasons. So I am hoping to become more conscientious as to what bags I pick, hoping I can master the art of "admiring a stunning bag from a distance" without necessarily having trying to own it myself and then losing so much money when I realize it isn't for me. :hrmm:

Hi everyone,
So i have a question, does anyone have the no. un nano in lizard and how is it wearing. Also do any of you guys switch out the strap for another strap? i am wondering how it looks with different strap. Also if anyone has the beri and is plus size if you could post a photo of how it looks on. I am thinking of getting the beri in chalk color or the coach cassie 19 in chalk and the no. 1 nano in lizard print i am thinking green or black. Any help would be greatly appreciated <3

I have the un nano in black lizard. I think it’s a great bag. I wore it in the rain and it was fine. The black lizard looks dressier than the black smooth leather, IMO. I live in nyc, so this was the first polene bag that I got in nyc store when it opened. I tried on three different versions of the black nano, and I liked the lizard the best. I really enjoy this bag.

Look who came today! I pre-ordered it weeks ago and it finally came today.

It’s burgundy, but it’s so deep it’s almost purple. I had a discussion with some forum members a while back and they were thinking it’s oxblood, and the color is very much that shade. Of course when I showed the hubby, he said not another brown bag!? The bag doesn’t look brown to me, but I have been on a brown kick lately…
