I know this is going to sound pretty unconventional....but when my mon mono chipped, I ended up finding a perfectly matching nail polish, and just put a TINY bit on to cover up the scrape that was on my bag. Now, you can't see it at all. I did expect some wear and tear (of course) but I had a large white spot on my blue stripe...and now..you can't tell at all.
Just wanted to add my experience.

Still waiting for my nf gm that I ordered on May 20th! Actually, it came in 2 weeks ago after they could not locate it and then it was water damaged from shipping. Had to reorder the bag again and now i wait even more. I seriously hope that it does not chip!

I think if it gets worse I will- I'm really thinking that this is wear and tear and not a problem with the paint. It isn't chipping and peeling, it's just rubbing off in little spots- I'm not babying it at all. I'm on vacation, and it's the only bag I've brought. It's been to the pool every day, on the floor of airplanes, to the beach etc... So I really think that it's just rubbing off in little spots from being on rough surfaces etc...

The other bags I've seen with big chips on the front is definitely a quality issue, but mine is probably my fault! lol

Still wondering how bad it will get...it's 2 months old, now..the paint should be completely rubbed off the bottom in a few years.. :p

You're such a good LV customer that I think when you get back from vacay ,call your SA and tell about the chipping issue & see what they say !
