I have been reading this thread for months. I had finally convinced myself to get a mon/mono Speedy. After stalking this thread I am so afraid to get one! I have a Neverfull that I carry all the time. I don't baby it at all. It is used as a purse, laptop case, travel bag, shopping tote and all around go everywhere bag. It still looks wonderful! I am so leery of spending a thousand dollars on something that may or may not be the quality I expect from LV. So conflicted!

I want to get a mon mono one! Honestly I'm waiting until I hear that the arrivals of new mon mono bags too their new owners dont have any chipping issues.
Hopefully LV hs figured out why they're chipping and fix it.
I'm not going to spend over $1300 on something that is knowingly defective.
So I'm waiting for them ti fix it.

Just got the call that my replacement has arrived! I'll head in to pick it up tomorrow or Thursday Hopefully no more chipping issues.

Hey all; I picked my replacement-bag up today... And I must say it rekindled my love for the bag.

I was feeling pretty bitter; wishing I had gotten a store credit instead... But now that I have it here and it has no chipping I am sooooooo smitten.

The vachetta sure is white....... lol

I think I'm going to try that "tanning" process another poster did in another thread.
