THIS IS EXACTLY how mine looked! I just returned it on Friday, they are ordering me a new one... I felt guilty returning it because the SA who dealt with me (mine just moved to Hong Kong, so I got handed over to someone else) looked at me like I was ridiculous for returning it for such a small amount of chipping......

But this was my first LV and my first bag over 1000........ I didn't want it to be basically "ruined" in my eyes after 3 months :(

You have every right to get a new bag! The SA should be embarrassed that the company she works for has been producing bags that haven't been living up to a certain quality and price point!

THANK YOU--- Phew. Glad someone thinks I'm not crazy. It has been bothering me; boyfriend said "she's probably running around the store saying can you believe this girl returned a bag because of this tiny amount of chipping". I shrugged it off because I thought I had every right too.. But he also made me feel like I was over-reacting and shouldn't have returned it.

IMO you should be ok. I do agree with you that the bags ordered between Feb and April have the chipping issues.
I was going to order one in March but I couldn't decide what I wanted and now I'm glad I didn't .
