Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this post and all the kind words about my story. I'm sorry I haven't replied to everyone. I actually have a part 2 to tell!! [emoji16] sorry again for the length.

After we came back to the hotel to admire our bags my sister decided she wanted to try again tomorrow and see if she would be offered anything.

We left together for FSH early Friday morning and got there right when the doors opened. It was a complete madhouse of people running and pushing to get in line. We got in line to try our luck again. The SA monitoring the line was very annoyed with everyone flashing the cards of SAs they had seen previous days. Save yourself the trouble and just get in line. This is not like a regular H store that allows you to walk in and just flash a card and expect to be seen right away. I saw multiple people do that only to be told to get in line.

After about 20 minutes we were seen. The SA took my sister's list as well as a few small leather goods I was looking for. She came back after 10 minutes and said she didn't have anything this morning and to try back another time. As we were walking out my SA saw me and asked me if I had any luck this morning. We told him my sister didn't get a bag and wanted one as well. (I know her BF got a bag the other day, but his mom wanted that one if she was able to get her own.)

He said he would call me and let me know when to come back. We left hopeful! About 5:15 I got an email saying that my SA had been trying to contact me and to please come in. It was sent at 4:30! I replied back quickly asking if he was still available and if he could see us.

We ran over to the store hoping we were not too late. He was finishing up with another customer when we kept seeing person after person being turned away without even an obligatory check. Our hearts sank but we stayed composed and kept hoping for the best.

He found us when he was done and said he didn't know if anything was left at this late of an hour. We told him we were grateful and regardless of what happens we are happy to be there. He came back with a concerned look and asked my sister to try the B 40 sample. It looked ridiculous on her because it was too big. He advised her that unless we wanted to use it as luggage, he didn't recommend the last B he had which was a 40. We thanked him for being honest and asked him for a belt kit before we left.

While we were trying on different strap colors and waiting for a different size belt, we didn't notice he had been gone for some time. Looking up I saw him walking towards us with the belt kits sitting on top of a big orange box. We couldn't believe it!! He asked us to follow him to a private room and opened up a... beautiful B 35 Epsom Rose Jaipur with phw!!!!! [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]

He said we were super lucky that he was able to offer us one like this in a hard to find color. I was floored and told him how grateful we were. My sister was so speechless she didn't say a word for the first few minutes.

We ended up getting the bag, shoes, belts, and cashmere scarves. We thanked him and left with my sister smiling ear to ear.

Pics to come!!

Good luck to everyone coming soon!!
What an amazing experience for you and your sister! Her boyfriend's mother is a very lucky woman too. Congrats! Enjoy your bags. Can't wait to see pics :tpfrox:

I'm planning a Paris trip soon and I'm thinking of stopping by FSH. Do you guys who have been there before, think it's harder for Asians to score a B/K? I've been reading about a lot of Asians are being turned down and I'm afraid that my chances are slimmer bc I'm Asian. I wonder if I should even try since I'll only be there for a few days.

Hi soccerzfan, I'm Asian and I was offered a kelly and had great customer service .

Regardless, just be friendly with good manners & grace. I don't speak French beyond bonjour and merci but it seems that was enough for the SA to say he enjoys a nice customer like me and so will try his best to make my day.

Please try and hope you have a great time too!

Thank you - I'm hoping to find my first Kelly! Yours is beautiful by the way. I have quite a set idea of what I want though so it could be tricky to find - GHW, Togo leather, size 28/32 and preferably in a darkish blue/raisin/prune/gold/maybe one of the dark browns… But I'm excited to try my luck anyway! :)
i pray you get the right one for you. Good luck!
