I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I visited FSH last Monday 24th August and was fortunate to get a Kelly. The SA was friendly, helpful and professional. He attended to me & DH patiently for 2 hours, checking on colors and sizes and eventually arranged delivery of our purchases to our hotel. Here is a pic of my 28 Kelly Togo, Blue Glacier with PHW posing with my 31 Bolide Clemence, Blue Jeans with PHW [emoji2]. View attachment 3111753

What a gorgeous color on both bags, congrats!

They do, in general very well, but if you have French start with that even if it's not perfect.

I was offered a bag first thing in the morning. Initially thought it wasn't a good time, since deliveries probably weren't made yet, but I wanted to avoid the lines. I think a lot of it depends on luck, and the rapport with SA. From what I saw and heard, SAs all spoke English. It definitely helps to use whatever French you know. My French is very limited, only "Bonjour" or "Bonsoir" and "Merci," but I made sure to use it whenever possible wherever I went. Good luck! Hope you'll get your first Kelly and looking forward to hearing all about it.:smile1:

Thank you both so much! I haven't studied French since I was sixteen and though I remember a decent amount I'm quite shy about trying to speak it… But I'll at least try and slip in a few "Bonjour"s and "Merci"s. I hope soon I'll have a success story to add to this wonderful thread! :smile1:

Fingers crossed for you :p
Off topic but can you tell me what's the weather like? I'm flying on Monday and am having a headache now figuring whether to pack short sleeves or cashmere... Yahoo weather says 12-23 degree Celsius which is a wide range...

I was there a few weeks ago and it was really hot during the day (high 20s C) and yet cold at night (low 10s). So I suggest outfits with layers!

Yahoo is probably right. 12 around 8 am and 23 in the afternoon..
At least that's what my weather app says for next week and it's pretty accurate...[emoji3]
