It is very, very busy in the Paris stores at the moment. 8,000 or more people a day on weekends at FSH; 3000 at Sèvres.
Just for some perspective on what SAs are dealing with.
ETA: These are the numbers given me by an SM and a senior sales manager, and I have physically been in the stores multiple times in the past few weeks. Weekdays are not too bad. Saturday is terrible.
Slightly OT, please stop wishing for rain in Paris! It really does not increase bag stock, and we have had an unusually rainy month even for November, which is always pretty wet. Thank you

My SA is mainly concentrating on "Blue box" bags now and the rarer pieces. Here's one he offered which I declined. Will update "latest offers" thread when I have time.
C18 Embroidered and Beaded miroir edition, Black Swift PHW, which comes in the blue box.
All three stores are actually very quiet and will be until the December madness.

Depends on what you’re looking for… it seems like there have been steady offers, but mostly non k/b. Slg stock looked better than usual, including togos and calvis. But k/b seems maybe a bit less? Saw lots of vert yucca.

Despite what others have reported in the past, it looks like rainy days have made the stores more busy rather than less ime.

I normally hate the Constance, but this... I could be convinced to buy if I were ever offered.

I will be in Paris for a few days. Will definitely go to the store and show proof of email correspondence to see if they could possibly help me this time. Also, the main reason why I wanted to schedule a leather appt with my SA this time is to get a present to commemorate and celebrate a really big milestone in my life this year.

And thank you for your advise and also will really need all the luck I could get. Keeping fingers crossed.

why not just email them again letting them know you booked flights etc and your dates? they maybe just forgot to reply to you or did you already follow up with your SA?

lol I think so! Was literally joking with DH about this and said watch FSH be extremely busy with people getting excited from these forum posts 🤣

I do wonder how much this forum influences the foot traffic there.

How long has she been your SA ? What’s your purchase history with her? Maybe if you randomly got her card during an appointment she would want you to go through the lottery appointment system now.
But she should tell you so instead of ghosting you

Ha ha ha. You two need to get your stories straight. I’m thinking QF is trying to distract tourists from visiting and bringing the rain.

You can only apply for the next day’s appointments. I suggest that you only start applying when you are in Paris rather than when you haven’t yet left your country, or at most apply the day before you depart. Some like to apply days in advance of their trip to “get the rejections out of the way”, which is nonsensical, and might also mean them having to forfeit the appt they didn’t think they’d be lucky enough to get so quickly (it’s entirely possible to succeed on the first attempt).

For the lottery, you sign up between 10am and 6pm (as I recall) for an appointment for the next day. As all three stores are closed on Sundays, you sign up for a Monday appointment on Saturday. Presumably the stores will be closed on New Year's Day (Monday) so you'll sign up for January 2 on Saturday December 30.

This happened to me before and it turned out the SA was no longer with the company. (My email was not bounced back so there was no clear indication until my visit when the other SAs told me.)

This also happened to me in another instance with another SA and it turned out she was on vacation for a few weeks and luckily responded a couple days before my trip!

Hoping for you that it's the latter situation in your case. Good luck and enjoy Paris - rain or not lol!
