Lol maybe this belongs in the Unpopular Opinions thread, but I had the opposite experience - my first experiences were better at FSH vs Sèvres! My first visit to FSH, before any purchase history or relationship with any SA, I met a very nice belt SA (who tried, though unsuccessfully, to get me a leather appt) and a very sweet shoe SA who told me her favorite clients were American (I was surprised to hear that!!) because we’re always so friendly. The same trip I also visited Sèvres and I was just lost there. It took a long time for someone to assist me and no one really seemed interested. The cashier was flustered when I was checking out and it just wasn’t a great experience. This last trip, I met a random homeware SA at FSH while I was waiting for my leather appt, and ordered a couple of teacups with her, not a big order at all. When I came home, I received in the mail from Paris a very nice handwritten note from her, a catalog of the Soleil line, and the Maison book, which I thought was very thoughtful and sweet. Anyways I guess this just goes to show everyone’s experiences vary and it’s luck of the draw. But I do agree- Paris H can be magical! :flowers:
I’m right there with you. The Sevres crew always seems too busy or distant even now that some of them got to know me. Meanwhile at FSH it has been really magical, friendly and welcoming every single time.

Just returned from Paris with a success story, although a slightly different one!

DH was working remotely with an SA at a neighbouring jewellery brand in Paris prior to the trip and causally asked if he knew anyone at Hermes - and he did!

Said SA connected them and DH exchanged some brief messages with the H SA a few weeks before our trip to set up an appointment at FSH.
The H SA made it clear that he can assist with everything BUT bags.

Prior to this visit we have never visited any of the boutiques in Paris so no spending history nor profile in Paris.
I have a profile and recently fulfilled first wishlist (K25) in London, DH did not have a profile at all worldwide.

Being aware of the leather appointment system in Paris and reading about the disappointments on here, I had zero expectations and tagged along just to experience FSH in person for the first time!

The FSH experience for us was magical, it was totally different to my experience with London so far (iykyk). We went in on a weekday morning and it was busy, SAs ready at every counter and customers browsing every department - almost like a Christmas market!

The SA was very passionate about the brand and seemed to be very experienced in luxury retail, he took the time to check stock, suggest items and told us stories about origins of some colour names which made our visit very special!
DH had a great time learning about the brand, picking out some casual shoes, SLGs and some small items from the current cosmic theme.

The SA suddenly turned around to me and asked "so what would make you happy?" (with a wink)...

I was confused as the SA made it clear they cannot assist with bags so I wanted to respect that, and also didn't want to take the focus off DH... I asked to see what rodeos they have in stock and added a beautiful rodeo to my collection!

After some more chitchat he asked me again "so what would make you REALLY happy?" - lost count of the number of winks.

At this point there was no doubt that the question meant if I wanted a bag - I had totally blanked out as I had zero expectations for this visit!
(DH later told me that they had quietly discussed the chance of a bag while I was browsing elsewhere in the store, and the SA said he can assist if we wanted one.)

I mentioned the recent K25 from London and honestly didn't know what other bag I wanted at the moment. He quickly suggested a B25 in neutral PHW from looking at my outfit and jewellery choice (neutral colour outfit, oran sandals and some silver tone jewellery, nothing fancy at all).

He disappeared for 10 mins, re-emerged with an orange box (omg) and took us to a relatively quieter corner of the boutique, to reveal a B25 in a stunning light neutral shade!

We're still very surprised how lucky we got with both SAs from 2 different brands!

It's really lovely to have the chance to hear these recent success stories. They always put a huge smile on my face! Congratulations on all of your H goodies! Thank you for sharing your fabulous experience with us!:)

it’s was raining heavily here in Paris this morning, I had my appointment with my SA I had met previously. It was so great to see her. I left with a B25 Navy GHW Togo will post more photos later. She knew it was our anniversary and asked me if there were any other bags I wanted, I asked for Constance she told me there was nothing( well at least in neutrals she knows I can’t do anything bright) the leather desk was super busy. I saw numerous people turned away while I was there some people were quite rude. My SA even commented about it. Got some scarves and twillys too. I had also applied for DH for lottery and he has an appointment at Sevres this afternoon. I’m not sure if we will go. I know we can get a second QB but I feel lucky that I got my B25. DH got appointment first time applying after our Cannes purchase too?
We are not going to take the appointment if anyone is around the store around 5pm

Not sure if any other person could purchase.

Wow, awesome you were able to get this without an appointment. Mind sharing how you were able to make that work?
I met a wonderful SA, I asked her if she was able to help me in different departments and she said yes. I had a hunch that she was able to help me get a leather appointment so I purchased a few items with her before she vouched for me for a leather appointment the same day.
