Okay i am back to report success!! No leather appointment, walked in and was just incredibly nice and explained to the leather desk our situation. Someone was late for their appointment so we were taken upstairs and the birkin gods blessed us! I am beyond beyond excited ❤️

I scored 2 appointments this year, 1 in May on my name and the other in June on my husband's name via the lottery system.
Both the appointments were for George V.
Unfortunately we were both received by the same SA and both times she took about 5 minutes to check for the bags we requested and turned us down both times. We were very open to different sizes and colours but she vehemently denied having any stock of bags.
It was absolutely frustrating as people were being led away to private areas during their appointments.
I did not even accompany my husband for his appointment as I was so put off by her attitude, that it seemed like a nightmare that he encountered the same SA.
Getting a bag in my country is almost impossible, so Paris was my only hope but I guess I will never be getting one.

The fact that you even received 2 confirmation appointments with the lottery is a dream come true in itself .I tried every day in Paris and didn’t receive one . With both my husbands numbers and mine . It completely ruined my whole trip to Paris , because I was hoping to secure a bag , because like you , my local store is absolutely impossible to get one .

I literally hate Paris now for this specific reason of not receiving an appointment or being able to secure not only anything off my Hermes Wishlist but any other store I had visited . IF I ever go back to Paris I doubt I will ever go back to any of the Hermes Boutiques. The people working there do not want to make you happy by selling you a bag ( as you found out from your experience with the horrible SA ) . You are completely correct that people were being offered bags in private rooms and this specific sa helping you and your husband just deemed those two days you were not an acceptable person to sell to . That’s the stuff that makes me sick to my stomach ! Nasty people in charge of making dreams come true . After my experience this past couple of weeks ago with the lottery system I absolutely hate Paris with my whole heart . I used to love to come there and dream about it all the time and now I just find it so disgusting and huge let down every time I think about it . I don’t think I will ever get over this feeling . Complete and utter sadness and distain over an entire city all because of Hermes . It’s an awful feeling of never being offered something you want so badly

Did someone apply lately and receive the message that no appointment was available? I applied for Saturday and tomorrow and did not even receive the decline message…

I emailed the contact email and they responded with “ take the no email as a rejection “ so nasty and rude . Just makes me SICK !

Did you try asking the leather desks for a non-quota bag appointment? The maison has many lovely creations other than birkins and kellys.

The leather appointment desk a huge disappointment in itself . The person working was SO OVER everyone coming up to them . I politely ,with an huge smile , and nice demeanor asked if any cancellations had come up or if any walk in appointments were available and they were just disgusted by me even asking and simply said no and to try and system again .

I do not find other bags attractive for me at all and I do not want any other bags other than a Birkin or Kelly .

It wasn’t just Hermes . Every store I went to was out of stock or sold out of everything . Even the simplest of wants . NOTHING . It was a huge waste of time during my vacation . If I hated every city in which Hermes caused me disappointment I wouldn’t have anywhere to travel as every single Hermes boutique I’ve been into all over the world has been a nasty , vile and disgusting with their treatment of trying to purchase something . This is the only time I have ever been let down by Hermes . It’s been countless boutiques.

We have already discussed this in previous posts and my feeling isn’t letting up . I’m still extremely disappointed with the lottery system and lack there of , of a brand to sell something to someone who wants to buy it .

IDK if you mentioned it or not , so forgive me , but I HAVE tried to play the game by purchasing things other than bags to build my relationship and love for the brand .

We hear you but it’s nothing personal I am sure. I’ve seen your postings and frankly, I worry about you. I hope you take good care of yourself.

I do not want any other bags other than a Birkin or Kelly .

What about resellers? Does it not appeal to you? It’s almost impossible to get just B and K these days.

It is logical to hate Hermes and not locations , but that doesn’t make my experience with Hermes in Paris not validated to hate Paris . The whole trip there was a waste of time regarding why I even went there in the first place , to shop . To secure a handbag that I cannot receive in the states . Also , other handbags I cannot get in the states . I’ve already done the sights and all of the other crap you go to cities for . I loved Paris before and now I hate it because of my most recent experience. It wasn’t solely because of Hermes ( which is the biggest part of why I hate the city now ) . Didn’t you read any other peoples most recent posts with their “ wonderful “ success stories . I appreciate the people who have posted their sadness and unsatisfactory experiences more. The system is BROKEN and not fair .

I plan on continuing with my fabulous attitude towards the brand at my local store and I will see what happens , so thank you for your well wishes and wonderful insights to MY “ Hermes Journey “ .

Maybe it is personal, maybe they hate you too. Is it possible they sense your utter disdain?

Personally, I would not accommodate a customer who I felt hated me, my company and my country. By the way, I have had ONLY positive experiences for 10 years at my boutique in BH, a negative experience in FSH in 2014, and a great experience in Sèvres in 2023 and I still and always will love Paris. BTW, tried for the lottery everyday for a week on 2 phones, no luck. I did not bother to ask for a walk in based on my unpleasant experience at FSH in 2014 and I was in Paris to shop too. But guess what, I took it as a sign that maybe my money was meant for other things, no harm, no foul. It is JUST A Bag And I am in Paris making great memories with my daughter and sister. Priceless.
