I had an appointment with my SA today; while my SA was in the stockroom checking for my bag wishlist, a lady also had an appointment (through the online system) and her SA came back from the stockroom saying ‘very sorry but I’ve checked and we haven’t received a delivery today, so no B or K. I can offer you this 24/24 29? Same size as the Bs and Ks you requested and also in a neutral colour’. Me: :hrmm: as I’d also asked for a B.

My SA came back just a few mins after and presented me with a B25. :biggrin:

I went to the bathroom in FSH yesterday on what I’m guessing it the bottom floor. One of the SAs was coming out of what looks like a stock room. I saw toooons of big orange boxes

Congrats on the 25 offer! Did you get it??

Yep I think the SA is the first step. SA and then they have to get permission from the SM.

I literally had the leather desk person (I don’t know what they are called?) look me up and down before speaking to me lol. He did offer me a Evelyn and constance right there in the open which I was surprised by. I asked him about cancellations for the day because I was trying to get a b30. He said b30 by appointment only but Evelyn or constance 18. I declined them. He then told me to keep trying for an appt online.

The SA probably put the bag aside for you several days ago. Some days they do get no delivery or none for new customers who don’t have a SA.

Yes indeed! B25 Caban with GHW :biggrin: The colour is really chameleon-like, depending on the lighting and the twilly colour scheme, the bag can appear either black or blue, so very handy to match outfits with. I normally don’t really like twillies on Birkins but I like how the twilly colour palettes can change how the bag looks colour-wise.

+1. congrats @_gelato_ on your gorgeous bag :) I am so happy for you!

My FSH SA prefers I make an appointment well in advance. I actually do so when I book my plane and hotel. I think that this makes it easier for them to look ahead or plan. I don’t have a wish list, but I do tell her what RTW I purchased this season. She brings out bags that she thinks are my taste, and I bought two QBs from her this year that I would not have known to ask for: a 28K quadrille and a 25K bleu orage.

I think there may be need for SM approval for the SA to offer as well approval of the client, so I don’t take it personally if, for example, there are no 25Bs (for me at this time). There will always be better, longer standing, or super VIP clients (which I am not). On my next trip to FSH in April, I hope to find RTW not bags. last time there was no RTW in my size left.

I’m pretty sure my SA hadn’t put the bag aside for me several days in advance as I only gave my wishlist today (unless she’s a mind reader!), but you’re probably right that on certain days they might not have bags for those without an existing SA. Who knows the mysterious ways of Hermès, but that’s what makes it fun in a way I guess :lol:
