I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

As soon as we go into the “you’re just jealous” defence, it’s over...
Anyway any more interesting stories?
No breach here … your full name is on the purse blog and you advertised a bag on the social media anyone can have access to that info and re share - you don’t want that go private.

Yes as soon as the world "jealous" comes into play, it says more about the character of the
person that has to opt for that word..
Many of us here are blessed & content with one Hermes handbag & are happy for others
who have more than one...so the word jealous simply has no impact
Exactly no breach here.. she put it out there for a purpose.. pure & simple $$$$$

It doesn’t even make sense… to be jealous over what exactly …sounds like childs play

Exactly. and how many of us would consider 40+ attempts to get a handbag
knowing that there are thousands of requests per day & chances are slim
& then call to complain because you don't like the system...
You have to take the high road at times & accept that you just won't be able
to get that appointment

When peoples travel to Paris and try everyday and go to store daily what’s the difference.. Would you judge someone how will spend 10,20k in hope to be offer a bag.

As a customer I can think that the online system is a failed just because you don’t agree mean that I am wrong and you right.

Hermes has a system in place that simply is not to your liking. While it has
"failed" for you numerous times, it hasn't failed for others.

While many others have understood & accepted their chances of not getting an appointment for a quota bag
or another bag of their choice, you simply want & expect that appointment regardless
of how the system works.

Many clients spend more than 10 or 20K & still don't have the bag of their dreams & then
their are stories that have been shared where they simply walk in & connect & walk out
with a bag without a "big spend" That's how it goes..

I know but everyone have the right to think what they want about the system.
For me it has changed and not in a good way. Peoples how don’t think the same I respect it.
Once again it is you and other members coming back with that. I have been trying since beginning of December did I came here or call to complain of course no.
I did came to share the two appointments that was original. I did call customer service to have the confirmation that the lottery system don’t consider you got an appointment.

Everyone H stories is different. And yes getting an appointment doesn’t guarantee to you to get a bag.

Let's stop the drama please, talking ABOUT a member, instead of TO her, isn't respectful. Report posts you think break our rules, instead of responding and continuing issues.
To EVERYONE, if you can't communicate respectfully, kindly don't post, it's the holidays
after all!

ETA: just saw our wonderful PT's reminder as well!

Please could you clearly said that it is against your rules to share someone Facebook personnal account. Thank you

I shouldn't have to say it, as it is clearly stated in our rules.

Members are not supposed to share their own or others' personal info.

I should also say, that this forum and tPF in general, has many members that are pro, semi-pro and amateur resellers and handbag related business owners/operatives, bloggers, YTbers, and side-hustlers, and we don't mind, so long as their businesses are kept to signatures and their promotion out of posts.

So any live update from Hermès land in the age of omicron? Busy as ever, appt lottery as impossible as ever? Paris is so festive and beautiful at Christmas
Hi JMC3007,
You are right, Paris is beautiful with all the festive lights. So, I gave up on going to the Hermes stores in person this week and simply register online for appointment and spend my time exploring the beautiful city with my family, believing that when the time is right, the universe will grant me an appointment.
I wish everyone Happy Holidays and may all your wishes come true.

:-)
