Total fail today. I scored an appointment at FSH after my sixth try (purchase history is one jacket I bought about a month ago). I live in London and apply from there so I bought last minute Eurostar tickets to Paris last night and got a hotel for the night to do some extra shopping. I show up at my appointment at 5pm and as soon as I met my SA I knew it would be a flop. She seemed really stressed and overwhelmed (the store was packed). She took me to the waiting area and got me to sit down. She stayed standing and said "What do you want?". I had been trying to slow her down but there seemed no point by then. I told her I wanted a Kelly 28 or 32 in a cool blue or grey tone e.g. Bleu Nord, Celeste, Gris Perle, Bleu Lin (and I said I would love her to bring me anything she thoughtvwould suit me). She disappeared for 10 minutes and came back with... an orange picotin 22 (which I politely declined). I didn't see anyone get offered a B/K/C but one asian single man was taken to a private room (but the box looked like an Evelyn box so who knows). Bit of a downer but having a lovely night in Paris! I'm going to stop applying for appointments for a few months - it wasn't a very fun experience today in store so I'm a bit put off by the whole thing. I never quite realised how ridiculous it would feel to be told 'no bags' in literally a room full of the bags I wanted haha.

Thst must be disappointing to have travelled all the way. I really think Hermes should consider introducing a system that makes the appointment process easy on them and their customers especially for those who travel all the way for a leather appointment. The appointment request form should include the type of bag you after -you should only get an appointment if such bag is available and following other filtering process to ensure fairness etc. in this day and age it should be achievable!

Hi, anyone in Paris right now and able to share hows the situation at H Faubourg? anyone has been lucky to be offered bags during this month? is Hermes a good idea in December? thank you ladies.
I'm here in the last 10days, tomorrow is my last day, and i got rejected for tomorrow also, total 22 rejected( with my husband) i when to the store every day( both store but not the George v) only got 1 pm rodeo. No appointment, then all i wish is KTG CTG, but they always say no stock before even check.

Exactly, the whole room is all bags and color that I wish for.

Hi, I live in Paris and was told by my trusted SA that stock is low this month. Unlike Decembers in previous years. And some items were stopped production until 1st quarter of 2022 (including 2 non-quota bags from my wish list).
I like many SLG from the brand and were able to get quite a few rare items in the past few months but that did not help me get an online appointment. So, I still need to rely on registration online

I agree with you, I do think stock is really exceptionally low this December due to Covid although I haven’t actually asked my SA to confirm this. Just as an aside but still relevant, I am curious as you live in Paris, why you aren’t given appointments by your trusted SA, since you are considered a local customer. After all you can start a long term relationship and pop by easily when your SA has a free slot? I ask as I am wondering how FSH establishes local long term customer relationships now. Thank you in advance.

This is so disappointing. I too do the same and get the Eurostar. I hope you have an enjoyable evening and when you do try again have more luck.

Thank you so much for sharing <3; despite it not being a super positive outcome. Helps us Londoners weigh up the odds of even bothering apply for appointments/travelling to Paris at this time of the year.

I've tried for 2 weeks from London and have failed to secure an appointment.

Just how do Parisians do it given the competition from tourists?!

As some other people pointed out, we are probably best off waiting till 2022 before applying for the appointment lottery again. In the meantime for non quota bags, at this rate, I may as well continue with online purchases.

Thx. I got one Evelyne so I am fine. There are long lines everyday morning (my hotel ist just around the corner). Mostly Asians but a few Germans, too. Btw. the Cartier on the other side is nice and there is a Reverso exhibition on the opposite corner.

As said best check the one near Bon Marche. Can give you directions of needed.

Hi Periogirl28, :-)
I am considered a 'new' local LOL, as I moved here a few months ago. So, the 2 trusted SAs are from 2 locations but they are in the SLG departments..They are really nice as I go see them often but they both confirmed that they are not the Bag-SA, so, they are not able to help even though 1 of them ask for cancellation on behalf of me when the store did not seem busy at 1 afternoon. So, long term relationship is not as easily attained in the Paris stores,,,,unlike North American stores which I used to go visit the same SA every time I go to the store and established a great rapport when she put something aside for me when it comes in and I have to grab it within a day (or else she gets into trouble with her manager hee hee)....so, the system is very different here in Paris.. appointments are hard to come by but the frequent visits to the store seemed to only enable me to chat with SLG/RTW SAs instead of bag SA..Now, I do know that sometimes, the bag SA do help at SLG department too, as I got a more mature lady as an SA 1 day and I just saw her offering bag to another couple when I was lining up...but those BAG SA do not seem to be in the SLG/walk-in-department often...so, it is not easy to establish any rapport with SA who have access to bags.
--------------------------------------------------------------
p.s. On a another note, I overheard a gentleman (lining up in front of me at the front door of George V) asking for an appointment as he got over 8 rejections. He even offered to show the lady greeter the emails. but she simply said 'Sorry sir, we have no control of that, you have to continue using the online registration'.. so, seems like not all customers with many rejections get to have an appointment when they ask for it with proof of cancelations either... So, I did not end up asking for appointments even though I got over 12 cancellations LOL.
