Do you have a B25 already? Just curious because for some people the smaller drop on the arm is annoying and they actually prefer the b30 to run errands for that reason.. i personally Prefer the 25. But i also Only carry 3 things in my bag.

Hi everyone,

My husband decided to buy us a trip to Paris and a hermes bag as my birthday present.

We tried to make appointment online and on our 3rd trial we finally got an appointment at FSH. My husband got a morning slot whereas I got an afternoon slot just before the shop closes.

My husband prefers to go on his own to the appointment as he thinks it would be easier to get a bag explaining he is buying it as a birthday gift. As he is usually full of luck so I was hopeful that he would get an offer. He gave my wishlist to the SA who came back 15 mins later with a box.

He was hopeful when seeing her coming with a big box but the SA said there was no B/K shipment that day and only offered him a red bag with lock (don't know its name) which my husband declined. We were quite sad and realised that getting a B/K is not that easy.

At 6pm, I went for my appointment and prayed for God to give me a favour and to give me a nice SA. And then came this nice gentleman who lead me to a corner area and asking me for my wishlist.

I told him B25 is my first preference. But if not Birkin 30 or Kelly 25/28. I like smooth leather, so swift is my first preference or otherwise epsom. I prefer PHW or else RGHW. Black color or any other neutral color.
He said "your wish is hard to get as you want something that is very popular." And then he left.

I was waiting there with my husband and I overheard a guy waiting nearby was also rejected and did not get an offer. I prayed again to God to make our effort successful. And suddenly my SA came back. Empty handed.
But the SA said "madame pls follow me"

He then brought us to a private room nearby and I saw 2 large boxes.
He offered a first option he has for me. As he opened the box, I could not believe my eyes. It is the most beautiful Birkin 30 in Gold Veau Jonathan leather with PHW. He explains that this leather is a brand new leather they have, very smooth like Swift but much sturdier and doesnt slouch like Swift. It is very smooth and buttery just the way I love it. The gold color in this leather is lighter unlike gold in togo which is darker. It is really so beautiful I kissed my husband to thank him and thanked my SA over and over again.
It is really the most beautiful Birkin that ticks all my wishlist.

He then opened his second option for me, a Lindy 26 in etoupe. Also very popular, but we wanted a Birkin and got one so I thanked my SA for his generous offer but has to decline.

As it was almost time for closing we quickly proceeded for payment.
I am so happy with my first experience at Hermes FSH and I am so grateful for it. I believe it was an answered prayer and I will never forget my special birthday present from my dear husband.

As I have scanned through the thread for a good few months and I only saw one offer. But then I also realised not many people in the thread asked for it. The competition in my home store for mini Kellys are super fierce and I am not interested in getting any more bs or bigger size ks. So it would be great if anyone could update me on my chances as I am planning to visit next week.

How about your own experience? Maybe some people got lucky without any spending or history. Like many of my friends they aren't willing to share what did they buy before getting the bag. So I'm confused sometimes hahaha but I just do what I'm willing to spend not being force/ pressure by any SA

I have been shopping at FSH for the last decade so my impressions won't be accurate.

I was in Paris last week for work and had a lovely experience at FSH depite being rejected for an appointment twice. Here's my story: After the closing of the conference I had attended on Friday morning, I went to FSH to look at some leather bracelets. The store was quite busy (in fact, too busy for my taste). A very nice French sales assistant approached me, and I greeted her in French and explained in French that, alas, my French is rather poor. In hindsight, this may have served as an icebreaker. She showed me three Behapis, and we chatted a bit about colours. She then went off to search for other combinations and came back with a very nice bracelet (one side swift, one side epsom) with contrast stitching. I decided to buy that and asked for their CDCs. The selection was very limited (maybe 12 in total most of them exotics). There was one croc CDC in amethyst which was breathtakingly beautiful but I was not looking for croc. I then explained to her that I had tried for an appointment twice in vain and asked whether an appointment for an Evelyne or Double Sense was needed. She immediately suggested to take me to one of her colleagues in the Leather Department. Alas, I had a train to catch and, thus, had no time to take her up on her kind offer. Nevertheless, the SA took down all my details to open an account for me at FSH, gave me her card and asked me to definetely look her up when visiting next time (in fact, I will be back in Paris just after Easter and shall look for her). Needless to say, I thanked her profusely; her service was impeccable. Oh, and I spent less than EUR 300.
I think being polite, respectful and showing your authentic appreciation for the brand (not just for B/K/Cs) helps a great deal.
