Hi ladies. I would like to report that I struck out yet again at FSH this morning. DH and I both received an appointment after our second and third try but unfortunately no B/K/C even though our appointments were both at 10:30am. My SA today seemed very uninterested from the start and she barely made eye contact while we were conversing (and that was a very short conversation). My heart sank already then knowing that she will just come back empty handed. Perhaps it’s bad timing and they really do not have any in stock..or they chose not to offer one to me, we’ll never know ‍♀️.

I’ve been reading the many success (and otherwise) stories here so tried to not have high hopes going in but could not help feeling down and disappointed [emoji17]. It’s been over 4 years since my last trip to Paris (honeymoon) and this time we came back with our baby girl so it’s not easy to run around hunting for my dream bag. I guess I’ll just have to keep waiting until I’m offered one at my local store now [emoji53]

I had my first FSH appointment at 11:35 this morning and, while we were brought upstairs, did not get a B/K — I asked for the smaller sizes in neutral colors. It seems that people all around were being offered Bolides and Picotins. We are returning this afternoon for my BF’s appointment...hopefully a shipment arrives before then.

I knew how you feel, I have been through that too.

To make it sound even worse the same day of my appt some other member was offered bags but not me.(???) No one knows exactly what happened during our slots but to me at the beginning it sounds my sales wasn’t able to offer anyone any b/k at all. However given that I was shown better bags at another store than most of other guests there, I knew it wasn’t me who can’t get it, so...

Reading the thread I found more successful than unsuccessful stories, but in reality I was told by other members there were far more customers being declined. If all of the unsuccessful customers all posted their experiences here maybe it will give walk in customers a practical expectation more in line with reality. But most of them might not aware of this forum. I for one didn’t even start to read this thread until a few days before my return to Paris. Long term lurker on PF but never try hard to get anything hence wasn’t aware how difficult to get an appt etc. ;) I enjoy reading other threads too.

I am sorry to hear that. I hope they are not starting to reserve bags for celebrity VIPs 2 week’s ahead of the fashion week!

There was a delivery between the first and second appointments, which we kept at the recommendation of our first sales associate. He remembered us (said hi to us at the beginning and asked us about our purchase when we went to collect our bags). At the second appointment with another SA, we saw several Picotin 18s on offer (etain, bleu nuit, vert cyprès all with GHW), Jiges and Herbags in seasonal colors, and more Bolides. I oversaw a SA putting a 28 or 32 orange Kelly Sellier with bandouliere strap back into its dustbag. We bought a Picotin and a contrast twilly and will continue to try for a B/K until our departure early next week.

Don’t give up yet! There was a private event yesterday which could also be the reason for lack of delivery— the store was busy for sth. else!

Thanks for the encouraging words! :)
I do enjoy their other products, the scarves, SLGs as well so I’m glad I managed to get a few things I liked.

But I (and most of us, I would imagine) can’t compete with the deep pockets that the VVIPs have... and ultimately, it appears the H relationship building does boil down to that.
