i believe this. plus as my passport number had changed from when i made purchases at FSH they wouldn’t have been able to find my purchase profile. i guess my point was that there’s no actual people behind the scenes going into everyone’s profile to allocate appointments. obviously they could just allocate using a computer based system but i don’t think they do based solely on purchase history. i’m curious if anyone has tried for more than 3 days without success of scoring an appointment since it seems third times a charm for most, including two of my friends i went to paris with.

Hi Cherylc, did you get an appointment using your new passport? Or did you purchase something prior to registering for an appointment to update your profile?

i got an appointment on my second try and had not purchased anything new beforehand with my new passport. i think it really is random.
Yup was told it's completely random, my leather sa said the youngest client he got once was a 10 month old baby cuz the mom registered every member of the [emoji128]. [emoji23]

That is too funny about the baby!!!
It makes sense that it is random. Why would H want to waste resource time allocating appointments when everyone who requests is already planning to spend money? Even though a query doesnt take long there's really no point in spending any time up front. Now I'm sure all of the requests for appointments and other data are being analyzed by business analysts and others for a variety of purposes. Good luck to all trying to get bags. Still trying to decide if I want to try on my upcoming trip or if I have enough H bags!

After checking the Paris post for years finally here is my story:)

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Paris from 17th until 20th for my short birthday break, we tried to get an appointment everyday, unfortunately I’m not lucky enough to secure an appointment for four days in row. But luckily my boyfriend secured an appointment today at 11:35.

We arrived FSH on time and wait for 15 minutes for our sale assistant. He was nice, but my boyfriend told me he was checking my outfit from head to toe, but anyway I didn’t noticed. Before he asked us about handbags, he asked us if he can help us with anything beside bags, I got a wish list so I told him- a excotic leather kelly wallet for myself, a bearn wallet for my mom and a jet beaded scarf for our living room decoration.
He then went through all the department with us and helped us to find the items we have in mind- a very vertigo ostrich kelly wallet with GHW, a etoupe epsom bearn wallet, and luckily the last scarf in FSH.
Then we went back to upstairs fitting room, he start ask me about the bag I want. I told him that I really want a exotic leather b/k in small size, black/grey/green colour, ideally crocodile, but ostrich is also a good option. He left and came back in 10 mins with an orange box, start smiling and telling me that he got an amazing bag to match the ostrich kelly wallet I choose!! It is a 28 ostrich kelly sellier with vert vertigo in PHW! It’s unbelievable beautiful! Just something I really want!
That is my first ever ostrich hermes bag! Super excited! Very nice experience in FSH and I will definitely shop there again.

Thank you very much for all the information from the post, they are super helpful!!

BTW, I’m new to FSH, our home store in Paris was Sèvres. Both me and my boyfriend had good purchase history in Sèvres store.
The sales assistant did check my boyfriend purchase history and asked us what made us come to FSH.

Congrats and yes, they do check you from head to toe at FSH!

Something funny that happened to me at FSH....

I was there during the past Christmas Holiday and scored an appointment at FSH. It was pouring rain, and I mean 'pouring' almost all day, that day, and I had not brought proper boots for so much rain so decided to wear my plain black travel running shoes (didn't want to ruin my suede shoes) So, I walk in for my appointment almost completely drenched, umbrella in hand, longchamps tote on my shoulder and a very protected small brown paper bag that I was holding very dear to my chest

I was sent to the first floor and when I saw the SA, I knew right away I was getting 'nothing' from the way she looked at me from head to toe and I honestly looked really bad (I was very wet) I never had the opportunity to get ready, my appointment time was changed probably 8-9 times during the day and ended up about 3 hours earlier then scheduled. I remember the last time change was a big jump from 4 PM to 3 PM which was almost immediately when I saw it (I had about 10 minutes to make it) It was very stressful and as much as I would love to score a K, I might pass on it only because of that experience (I LOVE the new system although wish there was a better way they schedule the time) But anyway back to the story.....indeed, I did leave Hermes with nothing but I did leave Paris with something very special....

....a brown paper bag with 6 maxi pain of chocolat (chocolate croissants):yahoo::yahoo:

If any of you never tried one, you can't go to Paris and not try one, they are the best! and the maxi size have 2 rows of chocolate in them! :graucho:

.... sorry moderators, back to Hermes now

This piece of information is very helpful. Would you suggest trying for an appointment for 2 days before you are actually there? Would that be risky? Does having a purchase history have any influence for the granting of an appointment? Just curious if you would know. Thank you so much.

So sorry for disappearing. It sounds like a good idea to try twice before you get there but what if you're lucky in the first or second try? Then you would have to cancel and start again. Another tip - if you don't get the validation code SMS, just call the customer care line within the hour and they would give you the code. They were very efficient about that. Hope this still helpful. Good luck!

Ok so I have been absent from this forum for a while.. But will never forget that tpf helped me in making my first FSH trip a great success and such a pleasant experience. And subsequent trips after that..

Last week I made the annual FSH visit again, and this time I wanted something a bit special. I wanted an ostrich B30. I tend to be Team K rather than Team B, but in my mind ostrich is perfect in B because you can see more hardware. And I’m partial to ghw.

So I emailed my H fairy ahead of time to secure an appointment. On the designated day, FSH was like a mad place and my fairy ended up running very very late for our appointment and I didn’t get to see her till 14 mins before closing time. She felt so bad and was very apologetic. I wanted more time to chit chat, catch up, look at other stuff etc, but no time for all that obviously.

Once I told her what I wanted, she immediately showed me RP B30 ostrich phw which was on display just next to where we were sitting. She asked me if it was ok. Hmmm.. I tend to go for neutrals so that I wouldn’t have to think too hard in matching my outfit. I told her I wasn’t sure about the colour (pretty but may not work with most of my wardrobe).

She went downstairs to look for more.. I was preparing to go for my second option which is a K28 sellier in epsom, thinking that maybe timing wasn’t right to get an ostrich.

5 minutes before closing, she reappeared and asked me to move to a different corner of the store where a big box was waiting. She said she had found something very pretty which was even nicer my what I had initially asked her (bleu de malte ostrich ghw), and very rare. It was a bleu saphir B30 ghw!!! The saturation was unbelievable. It was definitely love at first sight. She said it’s so rare that it’s the first time she had ever seen bleu saphir in an ostrich.

So here it is.. The gem of my current collection

PS: Am totally in love with this bag but my pink lover friend (who knew that I also love pinks), kept asking how could I said no to rose pourpre ostrich!! My local SA confirmed that bleu saphir ostrich is rare indeed, so I believe I made the right choice.. Do you agree, dear ladies??
Incredibly gorgeous

Finally, after years of rejection and many attempts at getting my first Hermes, just as I thought this day was NEVER going to come, I have my own little reveal to show you once I return home tomorrow. The fortune has smiled upon me and with the help of two loveliest Sales Assitants at the FSH store, I finally got my hands on my first Hermes! The reveal is to follow very soon!
