Will check in to read your post ,always so detailed and good luck
As promised here’s my report. We arrived yesterday on the Eurostar, which wasn’t an easy trip because it’s been snowing a lot in Paris and many Eurostar trains have been cancelled. The hilarious thing was that I accidentally booked a hotel in southern France instead of in Paris (the two hotels has exactly the same name!) so when we arrived, we did not have anywhere to stay. After sorting out that mess and booked last minute at another hotel, we had dinner and sleep to prepare the next day. In total we spent close to £700 on this trip to Paris; so I hoped at least we will get something we wanted.
I have an appointment at FSH around 230pm, so we go there after lunch. My boyfriend and I have a bag-focused lunch again. Buying at Hermes always give me that on-the-edge feeling (Check my previous two reports for details). Compared to my previous visits, the store has become a lot calmer and I am slowly in favour of this new system (I used not to like it because it involves so much luck...). I observe that there are a lot of exotic leather bags on display at the windows. I carried my K28 croc in Miel with me, (see picture attached) and I do feel people treat me very differently. So ladies- if you have any exotic bags- by all means bring it because it will make a world of a difference.
We wait around for a bit before meeting the SA, giving him a list of 5 different bag preferences; B/K in various colours and small sizes; black being the main one preferred. He was gone for a long time (>20 minutes) before bringing us back a box of small size. Having been to Hermes sufficient amount of times now, I can vaguely gather the size of the bag to be 28/25 or less, from the box size. The store was quite busy so we couldn’t find a room, he had to find a quiet stand to reveal the bag to us out in the open.
He then reveal a K28 in Rouge Tomat in Epsom. (See pic).
He explained that due to the heavy snow yesterday, there was no delivery so none of the bag I wanted was available, which I trusted him. He tried his best to find one that is in small size and that K28 is the only one left. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what I want, in addition I feel that I already have this K28 in croc that I will use more, so although it was hard to do, I have to respectfully decline it. If you read my previous report, you will know I have learnt my lessons about buying something I don’t want just because it’s something from Hermes last year. (In short: it is a huge pain to exchange/refund/sell once bought). Therefore, although I feel quite uneasy about declining it and of course this bag could be on the dream list of many people, I respectfully declined it. I guess the SA had some respects for us and recognise that we are definitely not resellers; so he offered his contact details for next time we are in Paris.
The funniest thing is that when our conversation was almost done, there was people surrounding the stand waiting to talk to us. He was quite nervous that they wanted the K28 in rouge tomat so he had to quickly pack it away. But turn out they wanted to enquire about MY BAG! Hahaha. Needless to say I feel rather proud

. In addition, Hermes always deliver top notch customer service again; it’s slightly rainy outside and my croc bag will definitely die in the rain (if water gets on it, it’s GONE!), so the SA very helpfully gave me an Hermes bag raincoat for free!!! Just to cover my croc bag, even when I didn’t buy anything else. I would never have imagined he would be that nice; but of course I am very grateful for the gesture.
We also asked him if we can place in orders here at the FSH; however it is indeed a random allocation for bags, first come first serve; and he said they don’t do orders here unlike regional boutique. Just FYI in case you are interested in the same thing.
Overall, disapointing outcome but Hermes always have that way to keep me coming back for more ... like a bad boy you date that you always wanted to blame for the **** you have to go through being with him, but can’t

At least we have an SA contact now, so hopefully we will have more luck next time.
