hi everyone- I'm happy to report I had a successful trip to Hermes FSH today. Honestly, thank god I think I'm just VERY lucky in Paris!!! Bear with me- this is gonna be a super long post.

A bit of background/ digression before I get to today's trip. I've been a big Hermes follower and bought many things in NJ, but always wanted a Kelly...I was tired of playing my SA in Short Hills' games of "buy more and then you'll see a Kelly!"...I had already bought so much stuff, including big ticket items! So two years ago, I decided to come to Paris to hunt for my beloved Kelly with one of my bestest friends, who also wanted a Kelly. After 3-4 straight days of heartbreak at FSH, my friend and I both lined up in the late afternoon one day for the leather goods section (back in those good old pre-appt days). I got to see an SA first but she didn't have anything for me. Then, my friend happened to get a very good SA assigned to her (he was super nice and helpful all week whenever we visited- had previously shown us a Kelly 40 and Kelly pochette but unfortunately I didn't want those...). He had recognized my friend, as we'd been going every day, multiple times a day, so he told her to wait...as they got a late shipment for tomorrow. So we both got very excited and waited for maybe half an hour- 40 minutes. It was basically close to closing time so we were so anxious, and finally he was able to bring to us a beautiful Gris T K32. We both wanted a Kelly, but my friend knew I'd wanted one for so long so she let me buy it, even though technically it was offered to her. I was so thrilled and forever grateful-I finally got my dream bag! I told her I would help her find a Kelly or whatever H bag she wanted in the future whenever I come back to Paris.

So this week, I came to Paris for a fun family trip, but I knew I should try to help my friend. Now, she prefers Birkin only neutral color/ size 25 or 30, which we both knew would be tough to get. First day we got here I didn't get any FSH appts (we have 3 ppl with cell phones in our party). Second day, 2 out of 3 of our party got an appointment with the first one at 11:30AM. Excited, I got to FSH right when they opened today and tried to see if I could get serviced earlier, but they told me to wait until 11AM and check again. So I went upstairs to the petit h workshop (which was adorable but empty! I think not many people really know about it...). Had a ton of fun taking pics in the petit h photobooth and drinking special xmas tea with hermes milk chocolates

Finally 11AM- got a text saying our SA was ready for us. So we rushed downstairs and met with the SA. I gave him all the specifications and all the bags/ accessories we were interested in order of preference with the B as top priority. He came back with a lot of boxes and was able to offer a B30 in Gris Asphalte with PHW. I was so happy- live texting my friend at the same time. We took the Birkin home and I picked up a little Rodeo charm for my Kelly!

BTW- I had also asked for a Kelly/ Constance, and my SA said he couldn't show me those bags because we're taking home the Birkin....so I think Constance is still considered quota bag.

I came back later in the evening (5:30PM) for the second appt but was unsuccessful- everything was out at this point, which was no surprise. The SA brought me a herbag but already have one...Meanwhile the 3rd phone number that wasn't successful today got an appt tomorrow so will be trying for my Constance tomorrow

Thanks for letting me share my story. Out of respect for my friend's privacy, I'm not going to post her Birkin but see attached for the petit h workshop and my Rodeo

SO happy for you! My "home store" is technically Riverside, but I like to travel down to Short Hills once a month to shop. I totally get what you're saying about being tired of their games. I gave up Riverside a long time ago and now travel across the country to fulfill all of my H desires. My SA never played games with me, and even offered me my first B as a walk in without spending a dime in the store. Now I'm forever loyal to my new "home store".

Hopefully I'll make it back to Paris one day! Lovely finds, safe travel, and congrats!!

Actually I think it goes by both. Once your phone has been used to register you cant use that same phone to request again on the same day.

Can anyone confirm?
I believe people have gotten around this by using two different browsers (chrome and safari, for example) on the same phone. Not the easiest thing to keep track of but sounds possible if desparate.

What an eventful day at FSH! I must admit that I was quite nervous because my usual SA isn't working in the leather department this month. I haven’t purchased from a new SA my last 3 trips to Paris, so you can only imagine how nervous I was. As someone who refuses to purchase items that I don’t want in order to score a bag, I believe that a real connection with a SA is more important than extensive purchase history (although the latter does help).

A summary of events- After securing 2 appointments, my earlier appointment was scheduled for 4:45pm. I disembarked from USA last night and arrived this morning with ample time to take a nap before my appointment. Good thing I set an alarm at 3pm because it had been moved to 3:30. I’ve never put on makeup so quickly in my life.

By the time I got on my Uber, my appointment time got pushed back to 3:45. I killed time by visiting the Petit H workshop and made some ornaments; I posed for photobooth photos in front of an H tree; I indulged in chai tea and cookies served on H China.

Fast forward 2 hours, my appointment time got pushed back almost a dozen times. I was greeted by a smiling fresh face followed by, “So what would you like?” Honestly, I was so nervous about even getting an appointment that I didn’t plan what I wanted. That, and the fact I just purchased a holy grail bag at my home story yesterday.

TLDR; I wished upon a star and the H Fairy delivered! Presenting all the goodies I purchased today + a gift from a friend. Any guesses of what inside the largest box? Reveal will be posted soon!

Wowsers, it’s stunning! :tup::hbeat::yahoo:

Orange and brown are more festive than red and green hahaha. And thank you!!

My husband is french with purchase history.
He asked many times for bk or Kelly
Including today 19 dec appointment was at 11.35 am but the answer was no bk or kelly. Cryyyy

Whenever we receive multiple appointments, my boyfriend always attempts after seeing the bags I am shown (for experiential data-collecting purposes LOL). Yesterday, I was shown a capucine k28 sellier ghw and also the RT k28 sellier ghw. He asked for "orange and red" during his appt and they said there was nothing LOL

Woww congrats and thanks for sharing

Thank you!

I have something to report. If you know me, I've complained and moaned about shopping at FSH here before. To summarize, I just really disliked how it had always been a zoo all the time - from years ago when they allow queuing inside the store to putting the queue outside of the store. I swear I would never go to FSH again if they kept allowing the queue to start at 3am, and they started the online system and doesn't look like it's been dominated by the resellers. I must say I am impressed. I thought it would have been crushed by the resellers already.

I must say it was the most civilized and pleasant visit of all times! I'm not just saying that because I got my HG Kelly . I'm just surprised in general. I was ready to see a bigger-than-usual crowd in the store right before Christmas. Nope! The leather department was practically EMPTY! There were no angry-looking patrons, no tired-looking SAs, just very much like my home store! Situation normal!

I'll do a complete reveal in the main page when I get back home. Stay tuned.
