I was wondering how can one get a regular SA in FSH. Is this something we have to develop gradually and be invited? So that every time we come in we don't have to wait in line. I love the SA who helped me last time. I asked if I can see him next time which he said yes, but the business card he gave me has only the store email and phone #.

You can just do their first name.last name@ hermes.com or you can email the email on the card and attention to your SA's name and it gets redirected to them. I asked my SA the same question lol. Hope that helps!

Does anyone happen to know how hard rodeos are to come by? And also how much they cost?
depends on which store and what size. I was at CDG terminal 1 and saw a gm size one. My SA told me rodeos have been super hard to come by in France recently for some reason. I was lucky enough to score a pm one in rose azelea and it was about 320 euro before detax for pm and 370 for mm and 430 euro for gm. Happy hunting!

Hello all,
Quick question - my DH is currently at the Hermes Duty Free at CDG waiting for a flight within Europe and I asked him to look for a Lindy 30 for me. He called to say they have 5 color choices but if he buys one he is required to make an additional purchase equaling 1,000 euros. Has anyone ever heard of such a requirement? He ended up not buying one because they didn't have a color I wanted, but still, I found that odd!

Hi daisyjo,
Recently I posted a similar experience at H store at CDG T2 as well. We were in Paris week of V day. It was a 'special' Lindy (26 in Gylcine swift/ grizzly). We were asked to make 3,000 euros worth of purchases in order to buy the Lindy26! I was puzzled too at that time. :amuse:

Not surprising. They play games like that at the duty free stores. Often they won't even tell you that they have bags until you find something else to buy. I was looking for a picotin. There were none in the size I wanted. Then I found a scarf that I wanted. Suddenly a choice of three picotins materialized. But it's pretty brazen to come out and say that you have to buy a specific amount after they tell you they have the bags. [emoji849] disgusting.

 3000 euros purchase for any lindy 26 is alott to ask for >.< can't believe they will state the amount outright like this.

Exactly! There was a few other customers who were interested in th bag so I think it presented as an opportunity for them to see who wants the bag more! I just bought a couple of twillies that I couldn't find in town and left.

My friend was offered this same lindy at the same store but a watch purchase was required to seal the deal. Looks like the requirements changes.

i spend quite a bit of time in Europe and I have noticed that in the last year the number of almost all types of Hermes handbags has dwindled greatly. On Hermes.fr they used to have Bolides, GPs all the time. Now it is very rare. Hermes in Spain used to have them on their shelves. Now they say they just don't have any at all. I believe that the fact that Hermes makes much less profit on bags sold in Europe has led them to place more of those products in the USA and Asia - leaving their European outlets to play games with the bags they have.

Is it a lot cheaper to buy them in Europe?

(sorry dont want to go off topic) given the weak £, the shelves in the leather dept in London H's are always empty now. and on H.com, lindy/bolide/GP are all sold instantly (if not within a couple of hours) as soon as they are listed

I'm having trouble with my bank about increasing my daily spending limit on my debit card. Can I do a wire transfer to H if I am offered what I want? I always use my credit card, but this time I'm just taking my debit card.
